I love it. I own a 2005 S4 Avant and a 2001 E55 AMG. The S4 gets it off the line but like all the W210 E55 videos, it's tough to take that car past 50 mph.

The E55 and most MB's are Jekyll and Hyde off the line. Some times it connects like no other and other times it feels like it loads for a good second.

ufcextra are you mentally disabled or something ? do u not know the s65 has far more hp more torque and runs under 12 second 1/4 miles like clockwork? the s65's top speed is 216 mph , what it can do 0 - 60 and 1/4 mile does not justify how fast the car even is, I would loovvvvee to see a cts-v vs s65 highway rolls, the cts v would not even be visible in the rear view

E55 is a beautiful car. I own an E500 7G Tronic 388HP and its a beast!! Breaking the 500hp barrier is no problem for the E55. There is also the S55 AMG with the same Motor and 500hp.

..ich weiß nicht ob du mich verstanden hast aber jetzt nochmal, der Audi Rs 6 ist ein 4,2 liter V8 mit 452 Ps, der E 55 ///AMG hat keinen Kompressor in der baureihe W210 sondern ab der baureihe W211 ///AMG, der E 55 ///AMG hat 5,5 Liter und auch einen V8 der mit einen Typ M113 angetrieben wird. Der Antrieb bei einem ///AMG kann man einfach nicht beschreiben , und beim Rs 6 dauert es einfach ......... !!! das hat was mit dem ccm zu tun

der größte kritikpunkt am mercedes ist seine lahme automatik (5-gang, noch nicht überholt). habe selbst 2 jahre einen e55 amg gefahren, mit dem überholten getriebe. mercedes sollte sich eig für dieses getriebe schämen. solch ein getriebe ist nicht für die leistung gemacht (bist 100km/h).

Bevor du hier user als Trottel bezeichnest. der e55 hat 476 ps und 5439ccm also über 1000ccm und fast 100NM mehr wie der RS6 denn der hat ohne Chip 450 und mit ca. 510 ps. Demnach sind beide Fahrzeuge ebenbürtig. Also wenn man keine Ahung hat einfach mal die Fresse halten lol

Hi! Already bought the S/C. And if you stick with the Kleemann spec the car will have NO problems with reliability what so ever :-) Have to keep in mind that the car has a 10,5:1 comp ratio = 0.5-0.6 bar and not more. If you go higher then the engine is at a bigger risk of getting damaged. And I personally love the W210 over the W211 E55, to much sport limousine for my taste. So Supercharged it will be :-)

I love watching all your videos! Dude, you have a mean-sounding E55. Just curious: Why aren't you guys racing from a standstill? Are you trying to avoid drivetrain damage and tire wear? Also, have you been surprised by any car pulling ahead of you? Other than this RS6, what else has pulled ahead of you? I would like to see this exact same race with a supercharger on your e55 ;-) THanks for posting these!

Thanks! To avoid that the start makes all the difference in a race due to wheel spin and so on,we drive from 50 Km/h to see the real performance of each car. Streetrace is difference. But I like them both :-) I've lost to W211 E55 AMG, BMW E60 M5 and a 440 Hp Audi RS4. But i'm installing the supercharger in April, so I'll be looking for 500++ HP :-D Thanks for watching!

My CLK has also 19", but being lighter it's uncomparable slower, than yours even with 17". Try to put smaller wheels on - you'll gain additional performance - that's my experience.

Yes I know, but I like my car to be as fast as it is with these 19" wheels. Personally I can't understand why anyone would put smaller wheels on a street car just to make it faster when it ruins the looks on the car??!!. If I wanted a super fast car I wouldn't have gone the heavy Mercedes route ;-)

I bought the headers from Denmark, so they where really expensive. But Kleemann USA has a drive right now at these for W208 AMG for only 1200 US Dollar!!!!!!!!!! Thats a really great price!!

Thanks :-) Well, I think you should buy a car with your heart and not because it's faster then some models. A stock E39 M5 is a really fast car, BUT there will always be a faster car out there... BMW is more of a drivers car while the Mercedes AMG is more of a comfortable fast highway car. I love both, but this season I'm going for a Supercharger in my E55 so I'll be looking to break the magic 500 HP barrier ;-) Magnus

I have a CLK55, which was slower, than the M5 E39, wich otherwise you've beaten. And this video shows an advantage of RS6, wich normally would be beaten by M5 E39(al least at higher speeds)

So I guess the true performance always depends on concrete car.

Your E55 is very fast, even with N/A tuned engine. Never tought exhaust could bring that much. Thubs up!

This RS6 is tuned, stock 450 HP and this one has 507 HP. So a stock one would be beaten by a M5 E39, but not this one.

Biggest part of making mine this fast is the headers. Stock ones are really not good!!
