When you learn how to read in krean it's a lot easier. I can read it so even when it sounds like they aren't pronouncing something you'll know the correct way anyway ^_^
what make this vid more helpful is to put en english world like , for " tcho jon ja" = kettel , that gonna make it more esy i thing, anyy*way i like it good job. :)
Yeah I'm also having a hard time hearing the "k" at the end of some of these words. I mean it sounds silent but people keep saying it isn't....AHHHHHHHH....
"ㅅ" did not seemed to be pronounced. Is it silent? Also, with the third syllabic block of "spoon" the "ㄱ" was also not pronounced... I have the volume pretty high and did not catch either sound.. Can anyone explain? Thanks. ^^;;
It would have been nice to put the word "chopstick" as well (it sounds very similar to "spoon"), thanks anyways ^^

its actually easier with the korean words because kettle is actually jujeonja.(i can read korean, learned from one of their vids)
its alot easier to learn how to read it then just trying to figure out what they are saying.

Not really "silent", but they are unreleased.

No, it is not silent.
그릇[Gue reut], 숟가락[sood ga rak]
you must pronounce the sound of last [t] and [k].
folia5157 2 years ago
I just feel like an idiot! I can not hear the sounds of the [t] and [k] in those words.
syn7000 2 years ago
Korean doesn't explode the "Final [t] and [k]" absolutely. You have to know that.
그릇 sounds 그륻[geu reut; but the final [t] is not stressed, just like [d] or something else.]
숟가락 sounds 숟까락[soot kka rak; but the final [t] and [k] are not stressed, just like [d], [g] or something else.]
(Note. 숟가락 -> [숟까락])

'후라이팬'보다는 '프라이팬'이 더 낫지 않을까요? :)
