Fantastic video! I enjoyed it very much. With 2800 rooms it is the largest Royal Palace in Europe. Though having a great variety of stylistic design elements, whether architectural or decorative in its many salons and appointments, the palace retains a cohesive aesthetic harmony only the best artists of a bygone era could have achieved. It is incomparable

Fantastico! Me gusto muchisimo.
King Juan Carlos prefers to live in the Zarazuela Palace, the much smaller place where he lived before Franco died...it would cost far too much to make the huge Palacio Real habitable to late 20th century much less 21st century standards, so the King stays at Zarzuela and "commutes" to the Palacio Real for royal functions.
I once lived in Madrid. Nowadays I sit in Stockholm and my pictures of the place makes me cry.

Madrid is derived from the original Arabic name: al-MagrīT,
Spaniards are not very European even their Capital has Moorish origins!
