Positions with close attributes like a CB to a FS or SS shouldn't make much difference. But a DT shouldnt be able to nail a 45 yard fieldgoal. Im just saying EA needs to do a better job. This isnt thier first rodeo, i mean it is Madden 12, Isnt it?
dude something like that can happen if a player is moving towards you and you block the right way it doesn't matter if you suck or are not in the nfl you can use his movement against him by making him move his head and body lower he will fall over as long as he is in motion

A block rating of 10 versus and pass rush rating of 90 should equal the offensive lineman getting blown up everytime. 80 point difference is extremely drastic. Compare the speed ratings of chris johnson (99) and peyton manning (60). Run with each of those players and you will easily notice the difference, and that's only a 39 point difference. The blocking is an 80 point difference and that difference should be as noticeable as the speed rating.

When you play on All-Madden the amount of broken tackles is absurd. Whether its the RB or WR they never go down on the 1st hit. And Its almost impossible to get a sack because the QB will unrealistically throw the ball as he is getting hit falling to the grown....or unrealistically break the tackle from a the linebacker or DE then comlete a pass
First off All-Madden is another word for "you cant stop the offense or do anything against the defense", second Im a Steeler fan and every game I play I say to myself "how the hell is our line this good?" so I put the ratings down, but it still doesnt matter

I should've known. With Wii 2011, I've been killing with the Browns and every game I play, I start to notice some of these stats are meaningless. It's as if the creators were to lazy to make as many stats as it shows, and so they made some of them random to throw people off and then properly adjusted the stats that counted. need help,just bought madden2012 for ps 3 and have it hooked up to fios .but when i play online its very slow like it stutters .im new to this whole playing online thing this is only my second day playing i also have been playing cod since yesterday and for the most part that seems to work fine .can someone please tell me what the problem is and how to fix it . it would be greatly appreciated.p.s. i have the old ps3 the bulky one dont know if that matters

@Blakestefer ya but seeing how itz still a video game if you put a quarterback on the line they wouldnt make it so they just get blown up if you look at the ratings atleast some quarterbacks have some kind of blocking rating of atleast 10 also if you put them on the line the game will believe thats where you want them and will make it seem that they have practiced as linemen

A block rating of 10 versus and pass rush rating of 90 should equal the offensive lineman getting blown up everytime. 80 point difference is extremely drastic. Compare the speed ratings of chris johnson (99) and peyton manning (60). Run with each of those players and you will easily notice the difference, and that's only a 39 point difference. The blocking is an 80 point difference and that difference should be as noticeable as the speed rating.

When you play on All-Madden the amount of broken tackles is absurd. Whether its the RB or WR they never go down on the 1st hit. And Its almost impossible to get a sack because the QB will unrealistically throw the ball as he is getting hit falling to the grown....or unrealistically break the tackle from a the linebacker or DE then comlete a pass

I should've known. With Wii 2011, I've been killing with the Browns and every game I play, I start to notice some of these stats are meaningless. It's as if the creators were to lazy to make as many stats as it shows, and so they made some of them random to throw people off and then properly adjusted the stats that counted. That must be why the Wii won't allow players to switch players' positions.
