While Soundgarden plays a Mind Riot in this case with a bit of a different, I have always thought that the studio version of this song sounds a lot like a Led Zeppelin track with Chris Cornell singing instead of Robert Plant. Just my opinion, this is one of the MANY songs I look forward too when it comes up while listening to BadMotorFinger.

Regardless of what anyone says, in modern rock, this song has NO EQUAL!

The lyrics convey a sense of desperation and near-collapse, and the MUSIC captures the essence of that despair so perfectly. I don't think I've ever heard a song that is so subtle and so powerful at the same time.

But it is not for anyone! "A man has no ears for that to which experience has given him no access."

People who superficially live life can't truly hear this song; only people who EXPERIENCE life can.
