How do you get the case of easily? When I try to peel the hard shell of, the soft case come off too. Its like the soft part is stuck under the hard shell. The hard shell edge where it meets the soft case, has like a serrated edge which keeps the soft material from easily escaping. I think this is from me prying at it too much. Do you think my case is defective or even a fake as I got if off ebay? Though it came with all the correct packaging.

It has a hard plastic flush back and the case is all matt black which i think looks better than white, unless you have the white iphone. It also has a better way of protecting the headphone jack and connection port with protector built into the inside rubber layer. Let me know what you think of it :D

How toes it stand up to the otter box line? I HATE the screen protector and the bulk of the otter box, and like this one, but do you think it has just as much protection?

After a day and a half of use the only thing I would really liked to see changed is the consistency of the TPU. Im assuming it's harder for the protection but between that and the spine the case is extremely slippy and affords no grip. I work outside all day and am a little concerned with grippiness in the rain or sweat. So we'll see. I'm trying to find some kind of spray on silicone or something I can apply to increase grip. But still a great case.

I just got mine yesterday in black and it's already become my favorite case. Have used otterbox commuter, ballistic sg hybrid, and casemate pop and this one wins. Not real crazy about the non flat back and the high potential of losing the jack plugs but can live with those. Highly recommend.

@HeWhoDarez The softer material has yellowed slightly, but otherwise the case doesn't stain or pick up dirty and dust. This is the first white case I've owned that doesn't do that.

anywho i have just gotten my capsule rebel and i love it best..makes the otterbox look dull. I never really appreciated the otterbox back cutout for the apple logo. I love the capsule rebel exterior "spine"; not even a day with it on the iphone and people were already inquiring about the case.

I just got my red one in this afternoon (thanks to your review) after upgrading to the 4 a few days ago. I'm loving it! I would like to say that the screen protectors (IMO) are not so "high quality." I put one on and wasn't impressed. That being said, I really do not think they are necessary on the 3GS and 4 iPhone screens. I would also like to point out that the case is not as bulky as it may seem in some shots of the video, the spine is minimal and its very sleek!

@LoganDrumUK I've never used screen protectors, I always find them to be a nuisance and I've never scratched the glass. I just make sure I get a case with a good edge to protect it in falls.

The Capsule Rebel is still my favorite iPhone 4 case...strange how many cases I go through to always discover that this is the best one...It's a shame it takes them so long to release these every time they update the iPhone.

how is this for everyday use. i have the casemant vroom and cant stand it! how does this case compare in thickness, and does it slide in and out of your pocked or do u have to turn it inside out to get it like other silicone based cases?

@cargecko007 It has a textured non-stick surface and is very rigid, it won't stick to your pocket like a silicone case. It adds some additional bulk to the phone, maybe 1/4" all around. The spine on the back probalby adds unneccessary thickness to the back.

You would feel confident dropping the phone on concrete? I doubt that very much, my Ballistic case is the best protective case on the market, and still I would never say I am confident dropping it on concrete. But I have dropped it while hiking and was not worried.

@johnmonk66 Well, I have dropped it on concrete already ;) Not purposefully of course. The Ballistics case is just way too bulky for me, it's not dress-slacks compatible. I've never damaged an iPhone in my 4 years of owning one, even with minimal silicone cases. Unless I get in a plane crash, I'm not too concerned.
