SAE or STD ???? You can make dyno's say anything . Weve done it many times . A dyno is a tunning device not a tool just to measure wide open numbers. I can send you a dyno number of 2000 hp on a 4 cyclinder stock pinto . It may have been a blown alcohol but i will tell you its a pinto 4 cyclinder and send you a fuzzy video with two dumbasses in the background hollering numbers out. And for the magazine articles anybody can kiss enough ass to get into those , Just look at farmboys diesel. lol

I love the Smarty!!!! One of the best mods I ever did. As for the smoke, you do not see any cause we had to disconnect the stacks under the bed and ran 5" flex out of the shop. The owner didn't want soot in the building and I couldn't blame him! :)
I think its badass but i just have a hard time believing it.. I dint know it was yet possible for the common rails to reach that due to the availability of high hp injectors.
There are two of us at the 1289 level. Myself and Richard Brown. If you check any of the diesel truck boards, you will find I frequent most of them and this is not BS. ;) The worst part of this video is the camera guy almost didn't catch it. LOL He was slow to start and missed the beginning.
there are three in within a 100 mile radius of san angelo that produce up around the 800hp marker and im getting pretty close. Im at 517 and mine is loud enough that it shakes everything in the shop.
guess you could always be wrong though! This video was taken in a private facility, but the truck has also been dynoed in front of about 75 people and did the same thing. Keep your eyes open this year at diesel events. You will see it if you are familiar with diesels.
