One thing I love about all the Potter stars is the fact that none of them seem to have huge egos. They all seem so down to earth and chill, and just awesome well rounded individuals.
I really don't want to go through the whole video again but what were the books he mentioned? I'm always looking for a good read and he seems to have good suggestions. Plus what was the name he used for his poetry?
@weigianglow the name is Jacob Gershon; the books he mentioned are "Invisible Cities" by Italo Calvino (an amazing and poetic piece of work, but I think I'm a little bit biased, being italian :P), "Ghosts" by Cesar Aira and "The Master and Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov, a satirical masterpiece about the old soviet society. When you're talking to one person for a long period of time and they're asking you questions and stuff like that, it would be weird if you just STARED at them the entire time. It feels more natural to look around while you're talking---I do it all the time. :)
Daniel is a well-spoken, thoughtful, genuine, well-rounded guy. I don't necessarily agree with his take on Twitter, etc, but he can think however he wants.
Daniel's mom helped put him in the David Copperfield movie which Chris Columbus saw, decided he wanted to audition the boy playing the title character, and just happened to be working with the producer who knew Daniel's dad through another producer...it takes a village.
@RLviddy accualy the way he got into auditioning for hp was he was at a play with his dad and david heyman (main producer) who is friends and a coworker of dans father saw the two. after the play was over he whent over and said hi and his dad introduced the two and haymen told them about the movie and invited dan to audition. google it there are many interviews of dan telling that story. the producer david heyman and his dad were already friends

I have to agreed with everyone.I usually don't care about celebrities but Dan is very different.First he is so humble,down to earth,hardworking and very smart.He has respect for everyone.Just look for what the persons he works with said about him,from the hole cast to the extra and some visitors.I'm really proud of him and to be his fan since the very beginning and I pray every single for him to have a succesful carreer.Of course thanks to his wonderful parents for raising this amazing young man

I love how he isn't some technological person. He's really invested in the Trevor Project. So unlike other young people his age. I love what he said about the Royal Wedding. Too cute. @SpleeMckee you see that alot in interveiws you probley do it too with out noing it when you answer a question if it is a short answer you can make eye contact,but if the answer is a long one your mind wonders to think on how to give a good answer
What I like is that he thinks his answers, unlike most actors, singers, politicians... who are just told what to say,and have all their answers memorized... and most of the time even know what they are going to be asked. So this kind of interview is very refreshing.
What a fantastic, engaging interview. Dan is so incredibly intelligent, articulate, thoughtful, humble, and (in my opinion) gorgeous. When he speaks, I feel strongly inclined to agree with everything he says, just because of how well spoken he is. I'm actually around the same age as him, and can honestly say, in my experience of people in my age group, that it's rare to come across someone so articulate, cultured, and well-mannered as he is.
@MyRomeojuliet He's also funny. I love to hear citizens of the Uk talk. They are the most down-to-earth, witty, and cool people without being to presumptuous to others. I love British tv and all that jazz, that people think I am a bit of a geek. Some of my circles think they, for lack of a word, that Brits' suck. I must for everyone's sake say I value their opinions, but really, people need to open their horizons. For me, Dan would diffidently be an interesting person to meet in a cafe...

It's so nice to see questions that aren't centered around Harry Potter, for I feel like everything that can be asked has been asked (and *I* could probably recite his answers by heart now). While that chapter has been amazing, I'm with Daniel -- it's time to move onto new projects and see what lies ahead. I, for one, can't wait.
Watching this made me realise how smart he is. He knows what he wants from his career and he knows where he wants to go. I think when Daniel reaches 50, he will have so many oscars they wouldn't fit on my bookcase (and i have a big bookcase)

I have to agreed with everyone.I usually don't care about celebrities but Dan is very different.First he is so humble,down to earth,hardworking and very smart.He has respect for everyone.Just look for what the persons he works with said about him,from the hole cast to the extra and some visitors.I'm really proud of him and to be his fan since the very beginning and I pray every single for him to have a succesful carreer.Of course thanks to his wonderful parents for raising this amazing young man

Such a wonderful interview. Dan is so amazing with words, so sweet, humble, polite, and just fantastic to listen to all the time. He is intelligent even if he says he's not! I love how he isn't some technological person. He's really invested in the Trevor Project. So unlike other young people his age. I love what he said about the Royal Wedding. Too cute. And how he loves kids...
Dan is amazing in 100 + ways and this interview shows it. Love him.

@SpleeMckee you see that alot in interveiws you probley do it too with out noing it when you answer a question if it is a short answer you can make eye contact,but if the answer is a long one your mind wonders to think on how to give a good answer

What I like is that he thinks his answers, unlike most actors, singers, politicians... who are just told what to say,and have all their answers memorized... and most of the time even know what they are going to be asked. So this kind of interview is very refreshing.

What a fantastic, engaging interview. Dan is so incredibly intelligent, articulate, thoughtful, humble, and (in my opinion) gorgeous. When he speaks, I feel strongly inclined to agree with everything he says, just because of how well spoken he is. I'm actually around the same age as him, and can honestly say, in my experience of people in my age group, that it's rare to come across someone so articulate, cultured, and well-mannered as he is.

@MyRomeojuliet He's also funny. I love to hear citizens of the Uk talk. They are the most down-to-earth, witty, and cool people without being to presumptuous to others. I love British tv and all that jazz, that people think I am a bit of a geek. Some of my circles think they, for lack of a word, that Brits' suck. I must for everyone's sake say I value their opinions, but really, people need to open their horizons. For me, Dan would diffidently be an interesting person to meet in a cafe...

Thank you, Katie, for such an interesting and charming interview. It's so nice to see questions that aren't centered around Harry Potter, for I feel like everything that can be asked has been asked (and *I* could probably recite his answers by heart now). While that chapter has been amazing, I'm with Daniel -- it's time to move onto new projects and see what lies ahead. I, for one, can't wait.

Watching this made me realise how smart he is. He knows what he wants from his career and he knows where he wants to go. I think when Daniel reaches 50, he will have so many oscars they wouldn't fit on my bookcase (and i have a big bookcase)

I love how humble he is. He keeps saying he's not smart and yet he speaks like he knows everything there is to know.....or like Tom Felton would say "a philosopher".

@anonymouslypopular Yeah, I've noticed that too! The way he talks, his vocabulary (which is quite impressive) is totally contradicting what he says about himself--seeing that in him is really endearing!
