it sucks. jk jk. i think it's a good start of your battle system. you just got to add more special effects so it can add more emotion to the battle system. other than that good going. i've used the old rpg maker before. i no longer have it since. i felt like perchasing either this one or the ig maker. which ever is cool.

@Superspyi The simplest way to explain it is to click the event making tab and then squares will then be shown in the editor. Right click a square tile and you'll find a quick event creation of chests.

Well.. it can make a game from GBA graphics to PS2 JRPG type and its easy to configure. Rpg maker also has a built-in easy to use events (like dialogue cutscenes, etc.), battle systems and a ton of sprites to choose from.
