  • why is a raw vegan diet better than a vegan diet???

  • I wanna see her body, she looks really fit just from this view

  • Eat unlimited fruit......add a few greens..........Done!

  • She's cute.

  • For health reasons, I went vegetarian for about two years before I went vegan for ethical reasons. I ate wrong at first being a vegetarian, yet I got no side effects one may encounter: no energy loss, mood changes, or anything.

When I went vegan my nutritional knowledge intensified even more and I'm in the best shape of my life with plenty of energy and good moods.

Thanks for the videos. I prefer to simply minimize my browser and listen to you. Visually, you're just distracting.

  • You are wonderful! Thanks a million for the wonderful video. I am vegan, and I am now going to try to go raw vegan.

  • Eating raw, do you ever miss hot food?

  • I love being Vegan. I'm not raw but have been vegan for around two years now and like you, cut out animal produce over night. I also experienced the traditional but I feel fantastic now. Aiming to go from 20% raw to 80% raw for the new year! Lovely video, thanks! You're radiant! :-)

  • i love you

  • Thank you for this video. I love it!!

  • From a health perspective, whats the difference between raw and cooked? Does it really matter? Cold food forever?

  • @paaaatrika raw food has more nutrients than cooked food. cooking kills the nutrients.

  • @SkylarRuloff Well, simply cutting into something fresh starts oxidation.. I don't doubt that raw is better than cooked, but.. Baby steps. Cutting out processed foods should be a great start. I'm still gonna cook my potatoes and fry them in a teflon pan (no added fat/salt).

  • @paaaatrika I'm about to go raw and I considered doing something like that. It seems more difficult to try to decide what counts as processed and what doesn't so I'm just going to go raw and not have to worry about processed food at all. Good luck to you.

  • @SkylarRuloff If the product has had anything added to it or been heated or frozen, it's been processed. Even raw vegetables in plastic bags I would say counts towards raw. Not everyone can grow all their food, in fact if you don't live somewhere like California where you can grow stuff year round, I don't see how you could do it by yourself and actually sustain yourself on homegrown food alone.

  • @paaaatrika You could set up a green house.

  • @TheGraceofChrist That would probably work wonderfully at 20 below zero celsius :)

  • @paaaatrika It gets to 20 below where I live and people sustain their greenhouses =)

  • :) i onley got one main problem with goin raw, chocolate! ..how can i replace chocolate with something that takes like it but is not :/

  • @RazziaLowne have you ever tried chocolate delight? It consist of extra virgin coconut oil, cocoa powder (no sugar added) and stevia.

  • @RazziaLowne There are lots of videos on you-tube on how to make it.

  • @RazziaLowne There is someone that David Wolfe mentioned recently as having figured out how to cold press the cacao beans and make chocolate without cooking it. Not sure where to find it, but could probably order it online. :)

  • detox is the main problem many people think that raw doesnt work, detox ,

eat fruit for energy and go work out

  • Hello there! Have you tried intellectus 424 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate lost a lot of weight with it.

  • Thank You Liz for this wonderful video. I want to transition into a Vegan, because I abused my system for years with drugs and alcohol, but now it's time for me to get well again.

  • Hi Liz! Great video. The organic athlete link should be .org and not .com. 811 all the way!

  • Can you do a vid about when fruit is ripe and ready to eat

  • This makes me wanna go straight into my kitchen and eat my ananas!

  • thank you so much for this video x

  • We are what We Eat, its a circle of life that we living, we doing things to our own nature, we will get it back, either its deseases, nature disaster and so on...if people decide eating sick and slaughter animals, they will become a part of it...everytime i want to eat something, this is what i try to think, do i cause a big harm to myself and my enviroment and nature??? it really helps me to make better decision and to eat vegan

  • I really love your healthy lifestyle, you always look so fresh and clean in your videos. More people should be aware of what they put in their bodies, and you are the perfect role model for people who are trying too live better. I love all of your videos!!

  • This is what I don't get , how do stay on a vegan diet without getting amazingly hungry. I tried to eat only vegetables for a certain period and I was hungry every single time, it drove me mad and ultimately made me give up on it.

  • hey Liz, I've tried to transition into a raw vegan diet but I'm worried that I won't be able to order anything when I go out to eat. I'm currently a vegetarian and there are plenty of vegetarian options so I haven't had any problems yet. What would you normally do when you eat out? Do u bring your own food? or just wait to get home to eat?

  • I have been eating a raw low fat vegan diet for about a month and will stay with it for ever now

    xx, Denise :D

  • Hey there Lyz, I'm just passing by to thank you for all the honest talk and regular inspiration you bring to my life :))

    Have a great day!

p.s. After a month of adding lots of raw fruits and veggies to my diet I did not have menstrual cramps (FOR THE FIRST TIME OF MY LIFE)!

I just wanted to share this since I know that many woman out there might have strong PMS and pain during their period, I also have a form of endometriosis and I believe that it can also be cured that way ;)

  • I was wondering how you get the right amount of protein? I really want to start doing this, i think the closer to the earth the products you eat are the more at peace and more pure your body will be!

  • @JustJamieXO Raw plant matter has tons more enzymes than the cooked versions, which in turn break down into the amino acids the body needs. 'Protein' is a macro-nutrient that the body has to work hard to break down into those amino acids. Plants take much less energy to digest in many cases and the body has far more ready access to the protein and enzymes. :)

  • but i have to say in the summer i always go back and it raw food as it feels so much more cooling inside;-)

  • Wow, this video was interesting!

I had no idea that emotions errupt when you transition to raw vegan!

What do you think helped you the most to deal with the extreme emotions?

Also, if you don't find it too personal, would you mind doing some kind of video (or mentioning in vlog) about your faith?

    Thanks :) xx

  • @esthergirl123 Facing my emotions, head on with no avoidance, is what helped me deal with them! (:

  • @esthergirl123

    hey there Liz.

do you know where i can get information on becoming raw for people dealing with Bi Polar Disorder and ADHD???

    your help is much appreciated!!

thanks so much for posting your videos!!

    NAMASTE!!

    BLESSINGS TO YOU!!

  • @CreativeBraven Those conditions might be cleared if you go low fat vegan and manage to eat enough food to keep going. Check out John McDougall and Doug Graham and his 80/10/10. I was diagnosed with bipolar, but it is gone now, so is my depressions.. of course I give the credit also to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but I find it very empowering to see that the diet that is prescribed to Gods people in the end time is a vegan diet, truly powerful. Check out also Durianrider. God bless! =)

  • i admire your lifestyle...i tried to eat raw for about a year, unfortunately i always felt so cold on my body, i think it really depends on the climate of the country where you live, here in austria, vienna winters are pretty rough and cold so one day i went to a TCM doctor (traditional chinese medicine) and he recommended to me to start eating at least one warm (body temp) meal a day...after i started this routine i felt so much better, no freezing feeling anymore...

  • omg this seems so hard but i do want to try after i have my baby or is it healthy to do it during my pregnancy

  • @yeliz04 dont do it while your pregnant if you decide to do it after pregnancy check with your doctor first

  • have you ever done a video after you went grocery shopping? i would love to see that!

  • @kalijay10 I actually just filmed a trip to the market this past week and then I show what I bought... coming soon! (:

  • @LizYArtur u look great in dis video. xxxoxo

  • Pretty much.

  • Pretty much.

  • This was a amazing & very helpful video. Thanks Liz!

  • the few times Ive tried to make the transition from vegan to raw vegan, after about 3c days i started to feel so sick.... ant thoughts on what to do? Just bear with it or is there something else going on?

  • @Kombutchaful LOL i posted that before i watched the whole vid.... i dont know if im strong enough to do it then, i hate feeling all nauseous =(

  • To be honest, in the past I have been quite annoyed by vegans because they tend to go about with this "better than thou" vibe, as if non-vegans are just sooo disgusting and inferior. However, this video totally helped give me a much more positive outlook. You seem so nice and just genuinely enjoy the diet, and you do not come across as condescending at all. Nice vid.

  • Hi Liz, I joined 30Bad the other day and am trying to transition. What a great community. Everyone there has been so welcoming! So far I am doing ok, not 100% raw but on my way. I typically eat an 80% raw diet anyways, so it's just a little ways to go. I just always feel so spacey without a little protein from meat...usually a small amount of chicken or fish. So wish me luck as I try to drop that from my diet! Take care!

  • I went vegan last June and felt 100% better. I started struggling three or so weeks ago because of stress (husband/family not vegan) and stress at work. I've eatten some meat this week and my stomach hurts so much!!!! I'm going to go 100%raw vegan tomorrow and not look back. Thanks for being such an inspiration.

  • Liz I love your videos sooo much. You're so disciplined and take responsibility for your own health. I'm so happy that you share everything on here. I check every day to see if you have a new video post.. Lol!! xx

  • Absolutely LOVED this vid!!! You rock!!! In transitioning vegan to raw vegan, I always seems to have problems planning what I'm going to eat. I think it's wiring my brain to consider uncooked options...instead of the cooked stuff. Any ideas/hints on planning meals? Your 'What I've been eating' vids have been helpful, but I can't seem to get organized or something.

  • this is my favourite channel on youtube

you are acctually so inspirational and have helped me so much in all aspects of my life

thanks for being so positive, healthy and gorgeous inside and out

  • Hi Liz, just wondering, didn't you move? but your background in this video looks like your old place..?

  • today is my 1 year as a raw vegan and my b-day! :)

  • @Nightberrii CONGRATS!!!

  • I was eating Taco Bell as I watched this :(

  • @courtneytherunner13 Don't feel bad. I just had McDonald's =(

  • Do you think steamed vegetables are really that bad? I heard that if you just slightly steam vegetables like carrots you really bring out all of the nutrients they have, and that eating them raw doesn't really do that.

  • very informative video, thank you.. you really make people think about their health :)

  • I enjoy watching these videos because I'm a holistic nutrition student, so I understand where you're coming from with your dietary options, but I think it's also important to know that this diet can be very unhealthy for people with certain dietary needs; there is not one way way to go. But I totally agree with the mind/body connection.

  • Your amazing, Liz. Thank you for making this lovely video for all of your loyal subscribers :)

  • Thanks so much for this Liz. What great timing! I literally made the commitment to be 100% LFRV starting today after going back and forth between raw and cooked foods for the past 2-3 weeks. You were definitely a major influence for me in making this decision! I actually just posted a video a couple of hours ago about this diet for me. I added it as a video response :) Thanks again Liz. You are beautiful both inside and out!

  • thank you :)
