Abiola gave some great advice in this video and there's lots of other videos that are helpful. Be very, very kind to yourself. This is the time to mold ourselves into the kind of women we want to be. Let this experience make you better, not bitter. We have to be willing to let go.

As you're doing positive things, tell yourself out loud that you're doing it in the name of healing your heart.

Many people say that writing affirmations and saying them every day is very helpful. Say them every day whether you believe them or not. I'm sorry, but this just seems really fake to me to give this advice for everyone when there are many different reasons for two people parting ways. Maybe we just got a different style, but to me it's ok to feel shitty for a while ** and can actually be good for a person to be introspective and learn what things they might've done to contribute to the relationships demise, so they don't repeat the same mistakes!
