  • refrigerator gnome, why u no lady of refrigerator!?

  • right after alton mentioned to isolate the meat and mentioned "cross contamination" @ 4:03 a woman put raw meat into the top of the cart with other foods.

  • can i really ask for a floor diagram ?

  • @trudoll

I was really wondering that myself.

  • soap is soap

  • my fave way to eat hens are rub of oil/papricka/salt and bake for a while

  • Could anyone please tell me where Cornish hens are from? I mean, Cornwall is in England, but Cornish hens are unheard of there, at least the name is.

  • refrigerator gnome?

  • Everybody type "gift" before youtube then press enter

  • I realized I had some smoked oysters opened in the fridge and that they could go bad soon! Needless to say I finished this part eating them.

  • I wonder if the Gnome is related to the Travelocity Gnome.

  • "Cheerio moron"

    Damn I love that gnome.

  • "Cross contamination:" "AHHHHHHHHH"!!!!!!!

    damn i love this show

  • Lol. Ow! I was wearing my headphones cranked up high when that happened. I wonder who the screamers are? (Probably the behind-the-scenes people dressed in normal clothing...)

  • i'm sure that if i asked my store manager for a floor diagram so that i could plan my route through the store, he would just look at me and ask me to leave.

and when did the roaming gnome become part of this show?

  • alton im sure all ur food comes out good eats. i wonder, do u cook for your wife?

  • Actually, he might not. Most tv chefs don't often cook at home somewhat because they spend all day cooking and eating on the set(s) of their show(s).

  • My dad is a chef and he cooks at home.

  • @loschain I always imagine his kids asking for breakfast or lunch then alton breaks into some tirade explaining the history of fried eggs...lol

  • Spatchcock FTW

  • Haha, look closely at the blackboard.

Bacteria, viruses, parasites, and toxins (oh my!).

  • my favorite show ever

  • XD i just noticed this..... he had a fork that extents like a pointer or a car antenna would. Thats almost as cool as his like flippy cup for salt.

    Ahh Alton and his gadgets.

  • :D They're for sale at borders or novelty stores- they're advertised as forks so you can steal other people's foods! :D

  • Border's the book store? , ive been wondering where to get one of those....lol

  • even if he puts his poultry on the bottom rack, the thousands of other people who shop every day most likely don't, so won't his food have a chance of being contaminated anyways?? i agree with the other person; bring your own cooler if you really want to be safe

  • Love the fed playing with the laser (Infrared Thermometer perhaps?

  • Instead of counting to thirty, I sing happy birthday in my head.

  • i dispatched the coq last night, hurhurhur.

  • Hahahaha! I love the Refrigerator Gnome!!! :)

  • The reason for that is a matter of cross contamination. You do not want your food covered in blood don't you??? Do not trust the package not to leak all over.

  • Don't you mean protein laden liquid?

  • When it comes to spreading contamination does it really matter?

  • Cross Contamination? AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

  • i usually just bring a small cooler and put my meat/fish in that and then put the cooler wherever it'll fit in the cart.
