I have no interest any more in Roy Jones and no interest in Antonio Tarver. Jones is washed up and Tarver was never that good anyway, he just caught Jones when Jones was shot and Johnson did the same.

In reality, people know the truth. The fact that it's been over 3 years and there's still controversy about the fight shows it. When people look back on Hopkins' record 100 years from now to learn about the legendary champion, they'll see that all his losses were razor close fights against unbeaten opponents. I have seen him lose 3 times (Reid, Bika and Hopkins), he refuses rematches. He fights a man whom he called washed up in his autobiography some time earlier (Roy Jones).
I like all 3 boxers. I was just pointing out he is old too. If I was to bet I would have picked Hopkins or Jones over Calzaghe. Now I don't know if they fought again. I think I would go with Hopkins. I think he is a good guy and I think he has the most skill out of all of them. What do you think?

Jones to me relied too much on athleticism more than boxing skill which to me is not the correct formula for a guy like calzage. To say that joe is not a legend though is not a fair assesment considering how long he has been a champ in the sport. Longevity was his best assest.

Calzaghe's "reign" consists of 21 title defenses in a division and at a time where Sven Ottke made the same achievement, only difference was Ottke did it by defending GENUINE -WBA (21) and IBF (16) Titles
Hopefully boxing can pick itself up with fewer WBO-like titles and less Calzaghe-like management where the best fight the best.

@swedish0house0mafia I think if anybody would have had the best chance in their prime it would have been hopkins. hopkins in his prime was the type of fighter that knew how to apply the correct pressure. Jones to me relied too much on athleticism more than boxing skill which to me is not the correct formula for a guy like calzage. To say that joe is not a legend though is not a fair assesment considering how long he has been a champ in the sport. Longevity was his best assest.

Hopkins is a bad smell on the Light Heavyweight division, deserved to lose this fight because he stank out the arena. Great Middleweight rubbish at Light Heavy. Even if Hopkins did get beat by Haye, at least Hopkins showed some courage by sticking around and trying to get the most of his ability rather than retiring early to avoid getting beaten. In slappys fight with Hopkins, slappy was knocked down in the first round and tagged often by Hopkins. It sure looked like Hopkins won. He ended up losing by a 12-round split decision, but I had Bernard winning easily by two to three rounds based on the more effective punching.
