Actually, in modern bullet catridges, the gunpowder is sealed in the copper jacket. Guns CAN fire underwater, the problem arises with semi or fully automatic weapons that the ejection of the casing is impossible (the water causes the casing to jam the action).

Bullets still work underwater - the gunpowder in them is sealed off, still ready to fire. The handgun's mechanics aren't hindered by water, either, they're not electronic. Therefore, any mechanical gun could fire underwater.

Ummm.... no i mean, it will go off, but there is water in the barrel blocking the slug from leaving the shell at the required FPS to leave the barrel before barrel resuction pulls the slug back, the cartridge litterilly blows up causing damadge to the gun. probably unfixable problems to the gas chamber and loading mech :D

Bought the DVD of this today and I thought it was awesome. A sequel would be great too. Chris and Jill maybe? Chris and Rebecca? Billy and Carlos? My money would be on Chris and Jill, but to bring back some of the supporting characters would be sweet. Maybe bringing them ALL back and fighting as one (Including Kevin and Leon). I actually think that this was the BEST " video game made to movie" ever created. Better then Final Fantasy: Advent Children.

Because it actually ties the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 together.

So in a sense it promotes the new video game and that is suppose to be the idea. To make people want to buy the video game. FF7 Advent Children was more of a filler, and Cloud didnt use any of those moves in the game so I found that lame.
