I had the greatest pleasure in watching these guy's last night at the O2 in boscombe and they were brilliant can't think of better words to say how great they were.AWESOME
Saw them in KC tonight. I stood up and cheered when they played this number - did the Who ever play this live? Simon does a great job, sounds just like Pete did 40 years ago.
Roger said it himself " I know my voice isn't just exactly right on some nights but I still love what I do and I feel good doing it". Pete's song always sound better when Roger sings them. Rock on Roger, Long Live Rock! Meeting Roger backstage at the meet and greet at the DPAC (Durham NC) had me "Shakin All Over".
enjoy aidan! i guess it could have been better had entwistle & moon not died. and if pete was there. and if roger's voice wasn't cracking & hoarse! but seriously, it was a great show. roger still has it & simon was awesome!
Inky? One might also argue "what's the point in U barely being able to stroke it flaccid once a week, even after popping 5 blues & warming up 2 old Nina Hartley vids w/ the dog staring on in disapproval? It's OK 2 revel in the glory days of reputable GREATS! No doubt, Daltrey could FART ANY song 9 times better than any CD melting away in the console of your kit car parked in front of your crumby apartment. Put away your Coldplay and learn some respect. What's the point? Entwistle's dead, Moon is dead, Pete's not there. Why play Who covers as most of your material? I'm a huge Who fan but, I think it's time to hang it up. Roger's voice is starting to crack, he's hoarse at least every other show. I hope there's a charity benefitting from this tour.
