@beanodonnell while swing was finding it roots in the 20's the sound of it is much different from the swing developed in the 50s. similarly the jazz developed in during ww1 is difference from modern jazz. in any case Richard sound like the many male singers of the 50s similar to Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra
