@jcmario643 Using a light character helps. The way I do it is I go around the wall till I get to the finish gate. Then I maneuver next to it which forces me over the mountain. Then I either fall through it or drift off of it. The trick it to get as much height as you can.

u have to go high enough on the moutin to have the lap count. but dont go to high, then u will fall into the gorge

hmmmmm...., make sure ur using a good bike for this, like mach bike with daisy or luigi, also it takes soooooooooooooo much practice, it took me like 800 tries. also start by doing one lap of the short cut then run the race. as u get better at it do 2 then run he race. then when u get even better all 3. but most off all PRACTICE!

the best charecter is probally daisy on mach bike, but if u havent unlocked here use luigi on mach bike, and try doing one lap as the shortcut then the other 2 as nhormal then do 2 then 3 thats how i did it.
