I have to go to italy for 2 months and i don't know what to do, i dont want leave him....should i bring him. Im worried about putting him on the plane. He is 16 inches

I have a mini Aussie; he's not an ornament for my wife's purse, he's a herding expert. He moves cattle for me any time I need him to, and I didn't have to teach him- he was doing it at six weeks. Seems to me that you should get an education and learn more about mini Aussies before you go shooting off your mouth.

The AKC is in the process of accepting Miniature Aussies into their registry under the name of North American Shepherds with ASCA's blessings. They aren't 'ruining' the Australian Shepherd breed. They are not part of the Australian shepherd breed. The breeds diverged in 1968 (google: Cordova's Spike). The only way they could be 'ruining' the Aussie is if Aussie breeders are breeding to Mini lines... in which case, it is Aussie breeders who are ruining the Aussie.
they are basically australian shepherds that are bred down... meaning, only the smallest of a normal aussies are bred, and it happens again and again.
