European cars are just, well.... better :) that's why they're claiming they put european parts in it. Sorry if I offended someone. If I'll live in US I'll but an VW Rabbit GTI. or Audi
why is it that when every time Gm claims their building a good car they just add alot of HP.. another thing is, they always claim the car has euro parts lol, can't they just build a great car in the US wit out any other country...
good to see holden finally pulled their fingers out and started producing a good world class car. how did the monaro (pontiac gto) take in america? i remember alot of hype about it being released and they wanted to sell the SS ute (the ute version of this car cept back in the days of the VY) and revive the El Camino badge but it fell through.
To all you Aussies: Every car nut here in the USA has read in all the magazines that this Pontiac (Holden?) G8 is made in Australia. Your engineers and designers at Holden did a GREAT job with this car. Once again, we here in the USA are WELL AWARE of where this great car is produced....so rest well at night over who is being credited for the effort.
no shit they're badass we dont get Australian muscle here which is basically Australian suspension and American drive train better than most euro cars stock for half the price
According to ausie top gear, Holden actually bought an M5 and used it for "inspiration" in engineering the commodore.
