the lady playing the harp looks so freaking cool. i love the theme of the game from what i see. great music, interesting looking characters. nice artwork. all come together to make a good game. thats why 7 was so good.

Ever since SquareSoft merged with Enix in April of 2003 their games have not been as absorbing or as legendary as the ones before. The last game that Square released before they became SquareEnix was Kingdom Hearts and that was amazing. Kingdom hearts 2 was released after the merge and it was good but nowhere as good as the 1st. Same goes for Final Fantasy 10. That was the last great FF then after the merge FF10-2, FF11 and FF12 were ok but nowhere near as amazing as 7 8 9 or 10.

Not to mention that Advent Children sucked as well. And so did The Spirit Within. In fact if wasn't for The Spirit Within, Squaresoft would still be it's own entity. Siiiigh. Final Fantasy died with X as far as I'm concerned. Now they just try to use guns, air ships and make everything as futuristic as possible. They don't even use the crystals anymore. 12 was fucking amazing but it was too far removed from the previous games to be considered a true FF game.
