He did 120 concerts in 2007 and countless personal appearances on TV, for private gigs as well as sports events, bowl halftimes, NBA, NASCAR etc. The record company did not support his album and he had no videos. He got good reviews on his album for the most part. He actually has been very busy since Idol right through till last month.He is working on his second album and a DVD.

Taylor Hicks was the worst Idol. My favorites were Katharine Mcphee and Chris Daughtry. Katharine Mcphee's album came out and "Over It" is her top 20 hit. Chris Daughtry's band "Daughtry" has a double platinum album out and have U herd "It's Not Over"? Taylor however did a retarted Ford video that they decided to take off the air. He was also asked to sing a retarted song and dance at the Orange Bowl. The only highlight of Taylor's post Idol carrerr has been "Do I Make You Proud."

Taylor Hicks was the worst Idol. My favorites were Katharine Mcphee and Chris Daughtry. Katharine Mcphee's album came out and "Over It" is her top 20 hit. Chris Daughtry's band "Daughtry" has a double platinum album out and have U herd "It's Not Over"? Taylor however did a retarted Ford video that they decided to take off the air. He was also asked to sing a retarted song and dance at the Orange Bowl. The only highlight of Taylor's post Idol carrerr has been "Do I Make You Proud."

When it was in the AI, i love taylor more than chris, and i thought chris is boring, but now since they come out with their own album, i listening to both of their album respectively, i think i like chris's more than taylor's album..lol..

Taylor Hicks is HOTT. I saw him live and he was even HOTTER!!! Ladies you have to see this man. He can sing with the best of them and he knows how to love his audience. He looks so good you have to love him right back.

Daughtry out sold Taylor but its ok. Taylor has got the soul patrol. So wooo! Actually I think he's a fun personality but there are better singers. He's cute...He has big feet,look at those shoes, lol.

this guy really cannot sing as well as Chris can but I do give hicks credit for his harmonica playing..perhaps he should stick with what he is good at...he really has no great singing voice and he has zero charisma as a singer...

This is America. Take a good look at yourself. If your musical universe begins and ends with Taylor Hicks, you've got a real knowledge problem. Hicks is about as original as Sha-Na-Na, and not as talented.

Which is why, until American Idol, he wrote dozens of songs and never had a one sell?...Taylor is an appealing artist, but his attempts at original songwriting are pretty lame so far. Despite the enormous publicity, "Under the Radar" sold 17,500 copies so far. As with all artists, time will tell.
If you like him, more power to you. Certainly his next commercial release will not suffer from lack of publicity, or lack of a fan base.
