  • Could you post the original video? thank you

  • @sonsongto2 Why the fuck would you want to see him videotape a street?

  • well done! just a bit of flickering to fix on the renders... but very nice

  • As a track it is VERY good. As a render, needs more detail.

  • realistic

  • That is a great match moving video, but I think you need to add more grain to the hole. It looks very artificial....but the movement part is right on target.

  • WUHUUUU thanks for this. I had a huge problem making a hole, there is no tutorial for how to make a hole or simular.

  • Nice work! Looks pretty realistic!

  • I probably sound like a noob but AR and Matchmoving. What's the difference?

  • Bardzo ładne :)

  • what resolution did you shoot in?

  • do you see the way its twitching, thats because of how low yorue quality is. Bujou was probably sweating after the camera solve.

  • Wow Nice haha

  • fake but cool!

  • FAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

    lol!

@ Asbjoern making someone fall in the hole would be impossible hey

  • @Tyrkul its not that hard to make a guy fall in

  • this fake right?cuz it seems like it bt cool tho :)

  • FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 (kidding)

  • adobe after effecs cs4

  • it would be cool if you could see you the other side, just really deep in the hole. Would add a bit more sense of depth, v.cool though.

  • i like it it was good bot the hole was a lil flickery at parts but could you send me the original footage bc my camra broke or is their anyone else that could send me like a short clip of their table or anything thanks

  • nice. i like the way yours isnt like most peoples and exactly like a tutorial, youve made it your own if you know what i mean 5/5

  • real good tracking ^^.

maybe add some grudge texture in the hole .

  • good tracking

  • Wow! That's very good tracking there. Work a little on your rendering and it'll look totally real :D

  • awesome

  • haha, I like your idea, this give's me some ideas, thanks for making this.

  • i believe you are the retard here ;)

  • i have problem with my boujou, when i do all the things at boujou and 3dsmax, my object that i have is moving why? please answer

  • very nice

can U send me some link to good tutorial

  • look like really =)

  • awesome. looks real

  • WHOA!!!! nice!

  • pretty good job

  • Great! Now make someone fall into the hole. :P

  • @AsbjoernDJ Green screen, masking and motion tracking.

  • that was not bad at all. i am impressed

  • mind the gap...

  • Looks like someone has been watching andrew kramer...

  • this video was here way before that tutorial was there!

  • its twitching!! look at mine :3 its better but iused the stock XD

    watch?v=t9lR8g-LzB4

  • mis aplausos

  • PLEASE make a tutorial and send me in PM thx .. 5*

  • This is your first camera tracking?? Good work man. What did you use?

  • i think he used boujou...its in his tags

  • The CMOS camera makes it look worse than it should. Given that, awesome work!

  • HAHA extreme well, it looks like our roads here in South Africa...

  • whats in it

  • how??

  • AWESOME job! 9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999/0.00000000000000000000000000000005

  • That is so realistic!

    Six out of five

  • very nice five out of five

  • cool

  • Hey cool!, I have a question :) How did you make the sides of the hole so that they don't appear?

  • Never mind :) I learned how to do it. If anyone wants to know it's by using the boolean or procutter tool under compund objects, you have to make a plane for the street and it has to be matte then cut the hole in the plane and then put the hole.

  • you could also make a cutout map (or opacty map)

  • Impressive ! Bravo !

  • really good one ;-) i will copy you someday :-P

  • Great effect? there is a tutorial for this?

  • yes of course u can. the gnomon workshop has dvd video tutorials especially for boujou and maya integrated together to make a matchmove.

  • can i integrate MAYA with boujou??

  • Nice, maybe I'll try to do it later :) 5 stars, especially for the idea.

  • i dont get, what so special is about this vid... is it made by pc or something?

    if that is, nice done

in the begin i thought it was paintwork on the ground :p

  • well... it doesn't have to be special since it's a test... he's trying this special effects technique called motion control... wiki it for details :)

  • Very impressive result! Congrats :)

  • wow, great job! btw, i've got 3ds max, is boujou included??

  • No, boujou is not included.

  • that was awesome effects! tell me, what program did u use?

  • i think it was boujou and 3ds

  • Cool!

  • nice !

  • now like make things come out like zombies and stuff

    that would be cool :D

  • lol

  • i was expecting things to fly out

  • wow,nice!!!

  • wow,nice!!!

  • Looks like somewhere in russia

  • wow, well done MrBabcia

  • Good Thinking.

  • I dont think ye wanna fall in there ^^ very, very nice!

  • Thats a pretty deep hole.

  • nice one! i think this is very well done...!

  • Very Nice!

  • Nice man, good tracking,

  • :O Nice man! I've seen alot of boujou tracks on YT! This one is on my top three:D

  • wow, thanks, it was my first :D

  • Now, could you plz take 5-10mins to write me a short tutorial on PM? I need t know how you can make a hole! I can already to basic stuff like spheres and cubes and stuff like that:P

  • A hole is, I think, the easiest possible thing to match move. There are no shadows or reflections. For example, in 3ds Max you just need to apply "matte/shadow" map to the ground around the hole (so the hole isn't visible through the street surface) and export the rendered scene with alpha (PNG sequence or something similar).

  • Oh, so it's not any more complicated?:P

How do you get the matte around the "borders" of it? Do you place a plane and composite background, or what? Thanks btw!

  • It's "matte/shadow" material around the borders. Renders are transparent in places, where matte/shadow is "visible".

  • Good clean tracking. And a nice effect with the hole.

  • IMpressive

  • wow very nice work, its really tracked well..keep it up. good luck.

  • thanks. I made a running locomotive few days later and now I'm waiting for Canon HV20, to start with my movie project :D

  • good job! it looked very convincing. how long did it take you to track that clip in boujou? my short clips take forever.

  • Something like 3-4 hours. I've noticed it's faster when you have good quality video.

  • I do suppose that makes sense, since it can lock on better. My dv camcorder is 720x480 but gets quite blurry so I usually have to go in a readjust a ton of points. Most of the time the auto/wizard track works faster and better than manually for me. Was yours tracked manually?

  • I've tried to correct automatic tracking, but I could only make it worse. Maybe I haven't mastered Boujou yet ;]

Automatic tracking worked well most of the video time. It's less accurate during fast camera moves (and then the hole moves a little ;> ). I suppose I could have used shorter shutter time to reduce motion blur in a handheld camera footage like this. Or use my homemade steadicam (but on other hand, creator of "Piece of Mind" said that shaky camera helps to hide tracking errors).
