Expoland in Osaka, Caribbean Resort, abandoned (廃墟 エキスポランド)

So why is it abandoned? It seems to be in good shape. There is actually an abandoned water park right here in Alberta but I don't remember the name of the town that we drove by that it was across right across the road from.

@digigirl986 There was a deadly accident at Expoland in 2007 and the park never recovered from the negative media attention.

If you go these places you need to record all the time 95% of the time you are there, that is cool place, shame you havent more video apart from the pics in the blog !

It would actually be quite boring to most people if I'd film all the time - usually I spend several hours at a location. This material is more than a year old and back then I barely ever filmed at all. Now I try to do a walking tour at every place after I finished taking pictures - then I know the place quite well. My blog will have a lot more videos in the future, most of them several minutes long, but still unedited.

I'll promise to shoot more in the future and put more on Youtube, too. Maybe I can make my own documentary about abandoned places in Japan one day...

As for the blog: I'm always happy to hear that people like it! It's a very niche topic and it doesn't get as much attention as I think it deserves...
