First of all the beginning wasnt immigration. Mexico used to own Utah, Nevada, Californis, Arizona, New Mexico, and half of Arizona. So the border crossed many Mexican Americans and where called illegal in place they were born. Before Mexicans worked the fields it was slaves working the fields. Its not neccessarily a speciality it is more there is a system that maintains white people in better jobs and lower class people in low income jobs.
A Better Life...That's the only reason people come here. My family would have never stepped foot on this country if the conditions in Mexico offered them a good life. It's not just Cozumel, the whole country is like that. I remember my last trip to Mexico in 2006, as soon as we crossed the border there were kids asking for charity.

Mostly the big corporations/hotels get administrative help. Most other countries have strict immigration laws (knowing Russia's strict requirements first hand). It is reasonable for the US to follow rules and laws to allow only approved people into the country no matter the origin of the visitor.

First of all the beginning wasnt immigration. Mexico used to own Utah, Nevada, Californis, Arizona, New Mexico, and half of Arizona. So the border crossed many Mexican Americans and where called illegal in place they were born. Before Mexicans worked the fields it was slaves working the fields. Its not neccessarily a speciality it is more there is a system that maintains white people in better jobs and lower class people in low income jobs.

It's not just Cozumel, the whole country is like that. I remember my last trip to Mexico in 2006, as soon as we crossed the border there were kids asking for charity.

I have been on missions trips to Mexico. The Mexican people, for the most part, are AWESOME people.
It sounds like you visited the Mayan Ruins of Tulum? It's a beautiful place surrounded by so much poverty. Did you notice the broken glass serving as barbed wire stuck into the top of the concrete walls?
Sometimes I am ashamed of my fellow Christians. To leave so many good family loving, God loving, people in such poverty... we are often disgusting.

I just read over the comments and would like to add this: Yes, Mexico is about 95% Christian/Catholic (yes, Catholics believe in Christ). Regardless of how poor their country is...their faith remains strong. Earthly problems have nothing to do with God. Things like government problems are caused by humans. The Mexican people are a great example of keeping your faith evening when all goes wrong in the world. BTW, I am of Mexican decent and have been on many pilgrimages to Mexico. Nice video.

@hiyosilver100 yes i go to Mexico for vacations because i want to visit my family over there, not all parts Mexico is bad some parts look like cities here in the U.S. but most of it Mexico are poor towns that the Mexico government doesn't care about

@DaMexicanZFighter I see. Understandable. I have traveled some in Mexico and I agree. Some good/some bad. Very sad that the Mex guv does little to help citizens. Mostly the big corporations/hotels get administrative help. Most other countries have strict immigration laws (knowing Russia's strict requirements first hand). It is reasonable for the US to follow rules and laws to allow only approved people into the country no matter the origin of the visitor.

Ok, we are giving TONS of money to Haiti now. We are in debt. And we have done things to help illegal immigrants. It's call amnesty. What it does is it makes illegal immigrants be allowed to live in America legally by making them a citizen. Except when they are done with that process they owe America 5,000G. So I see what you mean and agree with you but, as long as the immigrant makes it over there is no such thing as an illegal immigrant anymore.

If america and mexico switched places in terms of the economy and you and your family were starving to death while mexico did barely anything to help you at all would you not be angry and say they owe you something? It's not like they're asking for gold, they just want to live.

Dude you're so passionate. I felt like this when I went to the Caribbean ...they are poor just like that. What americans have to understand that latinos are the descendents of the native americans as well. When the setters came through and started shooting up "indians" and "remembering the alamo" yeah some went to reservations, some were killed, but others migrated away. This country orginally is THEIR country. This is the americas they have always been here.
