I had always wondered, for all his incredible mobillity for a big man, exactly how much Blackwell weighed. (I never bought the "472 lbs" stuff which he was announced at, all the years I watched AWA as a kid. I can believe that he was in the neighborhood of THREE-Seventy-Two; but not 472.) The wrestling business often inflates a wrestler's size just to impress, especially the kid fans. Just like they used to announce Andre The Giant at 7'4 & 500ish pounds. I think Andre was 6'10 - 7 Foot.
