Sex/Sexual Content in Horror Films [Rant/Discussion]

looked at this way, instead looking at it as sex appeal, look at it as the bad guys are the heros who justified the reasons why they do that. i mean, wont u admire someone who would kill that very person who pissed them off?

Originally there was sex in horror movies, particulary slasher films because during the late 70s throughout the 80s when the bulk of them came out society was still hell bent on stopping teens from having sex. So the movies were a comment on what was trying to be taught. Afterall the girls that had sex were killed off and the virgin would survive. (i.e. Halloween). I just think that it became so common to have sex scenes that newer directors don't even know the original reasoning behind it.

I think they are trying to make it so people can relate to it more and that only applys because the mainstream medai feeds us sex likes its food. I geuss they think it feels more real or americanized to do so but I mean if you look back at slasher flicks sex is a claissic way to get your self killed... always thought that was funny myself. But you bring up a good point I cant remember the last horror movie ive seen with alot of sexual refferance in it.
