  • pretty nice although I've heard a better version, you can't really hear the drums on this

  • coolest super mario level ever!

  • Excellent! Love the C64 sound. Last Ninja Central Park my all time favourite.

  • I remember the bass being a lot louder :-/

  • oh god i love those arpeggios

  • as others have said (about most 8-bit versions) having the vocals with it would be great!

  • this one is a really good cover

  • *stares in awe*

    Impressive...

  • great 8 bit sounds!

  • Reminds me of sega games ;)

  • This could only be better with a sampled drumset.

  • I grew up with the C64 (and DM as well for that matter). I really enjoyed hearing my favorite song in this version. Good work!

  • Excellent Work dude .....wow 8 bit !!!

  • outstanding! Love the C64.. :-)

  • I love this Depeche Mode track. Sounds great on the C64 SID chip.

  • I want a c64 so badly.. despite the fact that the computer would be older then I am... I Would love to figure out to how make SID music.

  • @FurettiLamborgini Start with Goattracker2 on a PC...

  • I couldn't get this to play so I took out my hard drive out, blew in it, and shoved it back in. Now I have total high-fidelity sound!

  • The C64 will never die ;)

  • @KleinesHamsterchen

It was so iconic, no other computer apart from the IBM PC will ever be as influential.

  • @Areyouseriouz lol nice

  • you sick retro freak!

  • Awesome!

  • I'm a big fan of the C64, but don't actually like the sound of the SID. This one is an exception, a fine example of using the shortcomings of the chip (e.g. no sine wave) to create an atmosphere in a way that doesn't hurt the ear. (Go to 2:03 to hear what I mean.)

  • OMFG???
