he is maybe 5 or 10% less intense than he used to be, but he had, and still has really, a more all round game than carter. He can still kick better and tackle better, but perhaps carters running and playmaking are superior. Wilkinson is still a superb playmaker though, its just the stature of his kicking overshadows it.

yes well o gara is the best kiker out of hand in the world at the moment and best passer for setting up an attack but carter and contemponi are much better and running wit the ball in hand nd tackling but but wilkinson still not up to the standards yet will take him another while after missing so much time!!sorry jus my opinion!!

whats with him and injuries? and he isnt even that good, sure his presence and kicking can change a match but when it comes to the tough parts of rugby he doesnt seem to shine like other 10's such as dan carter

he is maybe 5 or 10% less intense than he used to be, but he had, and still has really, a more all round game than carter. He can still kick better and tackle better, but perhaps carters running and playmaking are superior. Wilkinson is still a superb playmaker though, its just the stature of his kicking overshadows it.
