  • 3:26 sparks under the train

  • i sometimes would like do stuff like this but my trains are to valueabl to me

  • @grizzleybearz282004 Thats why you do it to cheaper stuff like older life like and such, beleive me the stuff I have now I wouldn't do this to.

  • That was awesome!! I wanna see more of that!

  • your a silly nut but i wsh you were my neighbor

  • Do you use DCC or regular DC?

  • @TPBX225 Regular DC, Cab Control

  • ya

  • Lol!

  • cool vid, sometimes you just have to do this kinda stuff with older stuff, i love that HLCX patch job

  • @CPWindsorsub Yeah the HLCX patch job was truely a "patch" job, I used a sharpie marker to do the lettering. I sometimes regret painting over the Athearn SE STL&H which was what this unit was, but I was young at the time and didn't pay attention to that.

  • @trainman1986 Mate, I love you, I think this is my new hobby (besides plastic models) ! Nice crashes, but look at 03:24, sparks coming out.

  • Put a M-80 in the truck!!!

  • @jswiatek81 If I had one, I would have done that, but timing it out so it blows when the train hits it would be tricky.

  • This is boredom on a new level haha. I would be doing the same stuff.

  • DC or DCC?

  • @peterandben DC

  • @trainman1986 Mine is too, i model N-gauge ARR

  • @peterandben Cool, I use DC Cab Control on mine.

  • whats in the pringles can? :)

  • this guy has some time right on and i saw sparks on the last hit

  • sounds like orgasms

  • @BNSFME Not even close

  • @trainman1986 im just Fuckin with you man haha

  • @BNSFME LOL I sort of figured

  • Hell yah man. Good for you having some harmless fun. Fuck all these people that claim to be mature all the time. They're the ones who need to get a life and learn to cut loose and enjoy life a little bit instead of being so serious all the time.

  • @0verload Couldn't agree with you more, nothing wrong with having fun, seems everybody is too serious in todays age, despite all of the shit going on, u have to have fun, life is too short, enjoy every moment.

  • Wtf

    OH YEAH!!! lol

  • Very nice video!!!

  • @2124reading Thanks, I normally don't do this with my trains especially now that I have better stuff, but with older stuff it is good to have some fun once in awhile

  • Having fun by your self, never gets old now does it?

  • post more train wrecks ..

  • can an athearn locomotive run on power loc track???

  • so,, How much weed do you smoke dude?...

  • @orison319 Well for your information, I have never touched a drug in my life, not for me. As I said in the description, which lots of people tend to NOT read before making their assumptions, this is just for fun, and apparently this little bit of fun has made a shit load of views in the three years, almost, that this video has been on here, I really need to set it up for revenue sharing and collect money, again thanks for the view.

  • you have had WAAAYYYY to much caffeine haven't you lol. crashing shit is fun! i did it all the time

  • @toboe399 No not necessarly, just had a lot of fun that day. One of those days when you are on a role and get really goofy.

  • @trainman1986 lol..well..i just raided my grandfathers HO trains...sadly...only 2% of the engines and locos runs.....some need cleaning..others need a full break down and maybe sand off some crud on the wheels...

  • @toboe399 Sounds cool, one nice thing about the hobby, you can always fix up old equipment, I am sure some of that stuff is worth some money too depending on condition

  • @trainman1986 I know...theres about 2 diesels taht are in great condition..running...not so much..but these..are WAY old you know...pre realistic coupling. The one with a smoke unit runs great and looks great too! so is a 2-6-6-2 ( i think) but thats way too big to run on my current layout

  • @toboe399 Yeah, some of the older stuff like the old Life Like and Buchmann don't run very great even when new since their electrical pickup is rather poor, I did away with all of my older stuff like that and have been collecting the newer Athearn BB and Walthers stuff, obviously I started after I made this video cause you wouldn't dare catch me crashing Walthers cars or locomotives, LOL

  • @trainman1986 yeah..never crash your BEST STUFF....always use cheaper, less expensive engines LOL

  • @toboe399 Right, me and my step brother have a couple of older model power locos that every now and then will try and launch off of my bescule bridge, trains don't launch as high as race cars though, LOL

  • @trainman1986 dun get me started! lol slot cars...angled track, full power!

  • New model railroaders group

A place for model railroaders born after 1980 on facebook

  • thats bachmann it works great for hitting

  • on your second crash when it fell that happened to me also but the cables that went to the wheel snapped

  • Baaahahahaha!!!!! The commentary had me rolling!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what? no head-on?=)

  • Is that ho scale???

  • i have a layout im working on, and i know that it gets boring doing the same thing, so every now and then i spice it up by doing what you did, mostly... like puting a semi on the track, although i would be more carful :/

  • my 1st layout had the tracks right next to the edge of the table as well... i remember i was running 89 foot boxcars on a small radius curve while passing another train and they clipped eachother and fell everywhere lol i was pissed

  • @TRAVAM91 Oh yeah I would be pissed too considering my layout now has tracks near the edge, I will eventually place fencing of some sort to protect stuff from falling off. I also have some of them autoracks and I am in the process of converting over to 24" radius from 22".

  • @trainman1986

yea, prolly a good conversion to be done lol

  • @TRAVAM91 I will be posting a Layout Rehabilitation video here soon, this video is of my layout two years ago and I have since moved and have a bigger spcae now, be sure to check it out, may not be any crashes but I plan to incorporate a working signal system much like the one on this layout.

  • i like your CN C44-9W in the yard de trucked lol your right, im a hard core realist when it comes to model trains but damn is it fun to see some train wrecks lol good video

  • @TRAVAM91 Thanks, I am glad some understand that having fun is ok. I am also into the hobby as well and the stuff I have now would never be treated like this, however I wouldn't get offended by someone's video of them crashing their expensive stuff, hey if you want to waste value stuff like that then it is your loss, sort of thinking. I kind of wish the CN unit was still running along with my GTW SD40-2 that I used to have as well. All are parts into newly built locos I have now.

  • I dont get it dude. Why would u buy a bunch of real expensive equipment to bash em up? And another thing.... it wouldnt of fell off the table if u werent a retard and decided to crash ur $145 locomotive... ugh........

  • @lcluvsbb15 Well it is simple, called having fun, try reading descriptions before you jump to conclusions, plus that locomotive didn't cost anywhere near 145 dollars, more around 35 to 40, and if it did you wouldn't catch me crashing it to begin with. Like I said read desriptions and it will tell you and others who get offended too easily by this stuff that this is older equipment. So sit back, relax and have some fun once and awhile, and btw thanks for taking the time to view.

  • i saw sparks at 3:25

  • @countrymusicgtavboy2 Short Circuit at High Throttle

  • thats what happens when you mess with tomas

  • why does the HLCX doesnt have any railbars or handbars whatever there called

  • @trainwreckmaster I had to remove them as they were wrecked from moving from house to house. This was also a rebuilt loco from parts I had and I hadn't gotten the handrails (as they are called) yet.

  • Nice HLCX is it a custom or regular?

  • @m53dy9 It was a custom paint job, and truely a Rent A Wreck paint job as well, lettering was done with a sharpie, lol

  • 0:20 sounds like he just came

  • @DudeWithaPage LOL Anyways.....

  • @trainman1986 nice weather were having.... :)

  • how

  • this was very cool and intressting. will you please make more about this?

  • @boi9031 Well with the newer stuff I have now, I won't be crashing them, but I still have older stuff so I may do some derailments in the future.

  • @trainman1986 cool

  • Cool! Nice vid man! You make it interesting. :)

  • whenever my trains hit trucks they dont derail

  • LMAO

  • "Plowing the semi" O.o

  • dude that was funny can't wait to show my kid tomorrow i have to take meds fordoing stuff like this watch out for black helicopters and slver monkeys

  • @PODH1 Thanks, yeah even when you grow up to be an adult, it never hurts to have a little fun and act like a kid every now and then.

  • I'm guessing you still live in the house with your mother?

  • @PRR5406 Yeah you are correct, however unlike a lot that live at home still, I have two years of college under my belt and now have a full time job in the field I graduated with and Associates. Now I am sure you probably didn't mean this as an insult but for those who usually do, a point to consider, don't always judge a book by its cover. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video, and remember always good to have some childish fun once and awhile.

  • Cool video

  • the sound effects you make are probably the funniest thing in the video...

  • @Homedawggie95 Yeah I was on a roll that day.

  • the sound effects you make are probably the funniest thing in the video...

  • nice video.i would never do this to my layout but seeing some one else do it is awesome

    :)

  • yo trainman i got ur back dude nice collision with semi at begginning

  • Thanks, I think it is funny though how a simple goofy video like this gets to some people. But life goes on I guess and they are just trains. However take a look at the new stuff I have in newer vids I have posted, you won't see me doing this to them.

  • lol

  • what tyeof track doo u have

  • This layout used Power Loc track, I use Atlas Code 100 now.

  • iiiiiiii knew it

  • at 3min 25 secs u see sparks

  • you need to get out more

  • Funny you say to me but yet you have the time to post this comment, I hear this line enough from my family, Thank you and FYI I do get out and I have a great hold on reallity, read the first few words of the description " I was board today" meaning not everyday.

  • dumbasss

u should get a life and quit wasting your moms brainpower to say stuff like that bitch!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm gonna bet you didn't pay for those.

  • Actually yeah I did but it was older stuff, so staging this didn't matter a lot, however the newer stuff I have now I wouldn't even try doing this to them, way too much money.

  • Hilarious!

    -Brian

  • Yeah one of my more crazy train layout videos.

  • what kind of couplers do u use

  • Kadee Couplers

  • Comment removed

  • That first clip was fantastic with the telephone pole being taken out from the base were it was glued and the SP unit with the tank cars kept going even though it looked like it was going to stall to a stop.

I'm a model railroader myself and really I don't see any problem crashing the cheap stuff such as some 2nd hand Bachmann stuff.

After all, these movie production companies spend thoasands of dollars on custom models that I'd kill to have, just for a 10 second crash scene movie clip.

  • Hi tarmac2001, thanks for a very constructive comment, yes the telephone pole was definately cool in how it fell over after the truck hit it, I found that using rubber cement forms a bond that holds it in place but can be easily come loose if enough force is applied. That came out better than I thought. These units were Athearn but now have newer shells, plus I still have Life Like and the Bachmann stuff to crash every now and then. Check out my channel for more constructive Layout Videos.

  • No harm no foul, sometimes we post before we give a chance to think what we want to type. The fact is we all have something that can get at us, but it is good to remember that some are not worth getting upset about, I can see why this would upset you working for the RR derailments are the worst. Thanks for being cival about your comment, a lot of people are usually more ignorant. If you want to see more constructive videos be sure to check out my channel for more layout videos.

  • Appearently nobody reads descriptions anymore, as I stated in the description, it is ok to have fun once in awhile, to answer your question, yes, but even adults have to be kids once in awhile, if life is taken seriously all the time, where is the fun?

  • did anyone see sparks at 3:25

  • This is the result of the locos wheel set shorting out the track at High Throttle.

  • i lve this after 5 xmas of my mom and dad buying me these fun toys thay stoped cuss i wold brake them after haveing a shit load of fun

  • Well I try not to break these, this stuff was some older stuff that was in rough shape already so I figured lets have some fun, since this video I have bought all brand new locos and cars, see my channel for newer layout videos.

  • lol. :19 OOOOOOOH YEAH!. sounds like a slim jim commercial

  • i want layouts so bad

  • You know I have only seen a Stevens Transport Truck once in my life and that was a couple months ago in Ohio on the turnpike. I never realized they were around till then, these trucks I have had for a few years now so I never really payed attention.

  • ROFL

  • What model are those Conrail units? GP-40s?

  • One is a GP38-2 and the other one is a GP40-2, the GP40-2 is the one that fell off the edge.

  • nice wen i got bored as a kid me n my dad had a layout and =we had a derailment and it was fun great video keep them comin

  • It is fun every now and then to stage derailments, but I recommend doing it with older stuff. There is nothing wrong with being a kid everynow and then, life is too short to be serious all the time, but appearently some on here can't seem to understand having fun and have to post stupid comments, but oh well, not my problem. Thanks for the more rational comment.

  • i wasnt tryin tio sound mean n yea we used old rail cars

  • No I wasn't accusing you of being mean I was speaking in general, I have had many comments from others on this video, it just crackes me up how upset people can get just because I decided one day I would have fun. I have some older Life Like locomotives that I ran off of my bescule bridge one day, check out my channel for my current layout. Since these locos were old I didn't care to run them off the edge, they are stronger than they look.

  • Correction to you, I have been many times, and at the time of this video I have a girlfriend, so before you sit and assume something don't post a bullshit comment on my video.

  • i have the habit of doing that too, and i pay the price by breaking the front coupler

  • I made my $150 engine fall off the side of the layout 4ft. I couldn't believe that only the snowplow and front coupler broke!!

  • OUCH! $150 dollars? You have more bravery than me, but thats good that only the snowplow and front coupler broke. They are tougher than one might think.

  • that they are, no other damage! And then its like an uncontrolable shake and sssss (that is the sound I made) when you watch your favorite engine, derail, fall, SMASH!! It sucks!

  • Yeah thats why if I am gonna crash trains I crash older stuff that I don't care about too much, since this video I have gotten and rebuilt a few locomotives that I charish. The stuff in this video was in rougher shape so I didn't really care. The other night however I was running some cheap Life Like Locos off of my movible bridge (See my "Fast Lane" videos). However you wouldn't catch me doing this to my athearns or Walthers locos.

  • fuck yeah!

  • this is fucking aweosme lol

  • nice, i have a bad habit of doing the split switch on my trainz railroad simulator 2009,

  • Can you post another video with an update of your layout? Did you get any new track? Signals? Locomotives?

    Funny video by the way!

  • Thanks, be sure to check my channel, I have lots of videos of my new layout. For the first few just search Railfanning My NEW Layout, the rest of the series is called The Fast Lane, search that. These have all the new track and locos, as well as some new rolling stock and signals. Hope you enjoy what you see and be sure to tune in frequently, I post them regularly.

  • Great, I'll check out that video, and I already viewed your Fast lane videos.

  • haha cool you really like this stuff well im young and new to modeling so ya

  • Wow good job simulating a load of crazy American train spotters with the camera :V

  • Sweet vid! When that loco went over the edge it scared the crap out of me! Thank goodness there was hardly any damage! 5***** and faved! Great job, keep it up!

  • is ur black loco custom?

  • Yeah, it was a StL&H loco but I got bored and painted it a black then tryed to make it a rent-a-wreck, and I think I suceeded at that.

  • i like the sound effect, sounds so retarded, lol jk

  • do you get kicks out of making trains derail

    lol rather funny though

  • Sometimes but not very often with my newer stuff, the stuff in this video is rather rough therefore I didn't care about crashing them, for more "constructive" videos on my layout check out my channel.

  • yeah i will did you notice the sparks coming of the cross-over at 3:24

  • Yeah i did, the loco esentially shorted out the throttle by crossing the two rails together, once this happened I cut the power quick otherwise it would have burnd out my throttle.

  • Youve got serious mental issues that need immediate attention

    lol

    Good vid though!

  • Yeah i need someone to take the child out of me, LOL. Nope I am pretty normal beleive it or not, just having some good ol' fun.

  • u shouldnt do this unless u want to break ur train

  • ha ha pringles 1:19

  • lmfao " OOO YEAAAA THAT WASSSS AWESOME!!!!!" lol to be a 22yr old kid everyone has there hobby

  • Not only that but we all got to have fun once and awhile, would I do this again, probably not as I have much more expensive stuff now, but that day I had some pretty rough trains so I didn't care then.

  • yea I hear ya... cant do thise with the more expensive stuff :-/ but hey its still fun

  • is this dcc?

  • Just regular DC

  • I used to derail my trains all the time.

  • I did the split switch thing with a Thomas and friends train set today

  • woaa jyeeaa hoho ... Noob.

22 years old kid =D dude,go buy a guitar or search a work but not this shit.

  • Nice Conrail Locos.

  • Classic dude. How old are you and where you drinking? I laughed so hard I pissed myself when you said "BOOM" when the lococ hit the truck....

  • 22 yrs, and no I wasn't drinking, just had one of them destructive moods. It is always fun to crash things especially trains however this is before I got my newer stuff so I didn't worry.

  • Normally I wouldn't either but I got bored that day and had to have fun. Since then I have replaced some of my loco shells and aquired new cars therefore I tend to not do this very often or at all.

  • LMAO, great video. Classic, "ohhhhhhhhh" when the locomotive falls off the table lol. Glad nothing serious broke when it hit the ground. Great video.

  • 4:20 look under the tracks when it hits the trucks you see sparks!

  • Sorry I meant 3:20!!!!!!!!

  • Short Circuit at High Throttle

  • Oh ok lol did you ever shock ur self? and if you touch the tracks will u get shocked?

  • Have never shocked myself, only about 15 to 20 volts tops. You can however get a small pick from the rails if you touch them just right, I have had that happen few times, nothing serious.

  • lol how many engines you broke?

  • Didn't break the loco, just the wheel, that was the only one I messed up.

  • wow pm i want to ask u more questions

  • No problem send me a private message.

  • very nice

  • Thanks, with the paint job I did truely a rent a wreck of course now it is after hitting that truck

  • Plus I Also Have Norton Security Scan.

  • Did You Film With An RCA Camera? I Notice The View At 1:35
