I have a li-ion battery, and it says it's 11.1v, but on the charger, it goes to 10.8, 14.4 for lions, for Li-po's it goes to 11.1v which is what I need. Also, when I start the charge, it says connection break? Help?

Hi I have a charger like that and a nimh 8.4v 3000mah battery. When I select nimh battery type I then put in the amperage of 3 because it is 3000 mah. But after I do that I can't set the voltage of the battery. Any ways, all it would allow me to enter was the amperage and once charging it was charging at 10.44 v even though it is 8.4 v battery. Also it went to 3160 and kept charging even though it is a 3000 mah battery. Please help
@tcon97 Hi thats all normal for a nimh charge. Different cell qualitys produce different charge results it sounds like its all going fine, 3amp is a fast charge for a nimh battery if your not in a hurry always consider a slow charge option of 1a or less...
@xXxLuke97xXx Hi, no i think it has a ceiling limit of 5000mah on this charger but it may be adjustable, its quite rare in airsoft to use 5000 mah + sized batterys.
It doesn't cover every batteri like claimed in the manual.. If your 12v pd lead acid battery got low voltage like 7.5 volts it will not charge.. You only get low voltage warning on the display and alarm that telling you it's not charging.. It's useless for pd batteries..

@Poulpc I wouldnt charge nimh higher than 1a.... The technology works best when slow charged preferable at 0.1 - 0.3a over 10 - 12 hours and most airsofters typically use 2/3af cells which simply cant take fast charging.. Lipo is much more forgiving you can charge from 1 - 3a and some packs even faster. as with all battery packs each has its own charge settings and should be writen on the pack or specificed by the manufacturer.

That is the same shit that is available from ebay. All of them nowadays are made in china. If you buy them from a retail store, you have to pay more. You may or not be able to identify if the product is "Genuine" of not, even if there are some markings on the product manual. This can be altered by any manufacturer or retailer.
@pinoyeh There is a big difference between genuine and none genuine, take it from some one who has purchased both. You can spot the genuine ones becuase they are the RC SKY max company ones, which provide a certificate in the box, you can register this on line to check authenticity. You would know this if you had ever brought a genuine one. We also add Tamiya, mini tamiya and XT-60 to the charge lead so people have a complete charger ready to use. We also test the product before posting out.

All chargers are plugged in and tested before sending out.

its worth saying the fake chargers have got bad circuitry that wont charge to correct voltages, some of the fakes are off by close to .4 volts.
