I could be remembering this wrong, but if you're referring to the two times that the same scene is shown, then I believe if it's a difference in character perspective. The second time the scene is shown, it's from the perspective of the third guy behind the door, so I think it's a commentary on the value Jules holds on the verse, which the other guy doesn't (illustrated by the more casual dialogue in the second reading). Or I'm talking out of my ass. Either one.
@Alfeetoe There are more of these. Also the way that the guy says "Garcon! Coffee!" in the beginning and again in the end are slightly different. There is probably some reason for it.

I've always seen the change in the bible verse as symbolic of jules himself changing, but dont trust me on that. just my opinion. good review btw!
