This would be a good demo for Physics class. They used to do a lot of in class experiments - like, hang a bowling ball from the ceiling, get back in the corner and hold it up to the nose (you'd be a fool to push), let it swing clear across the room and (gasp) almost hit the nose - proving whether you REALLY believe the theory.
Someone takes the time to show you what he has learned and some people ridicule him for his knowledge... This was a very useful tutorial thanks.

Or divide the objective lens by the exit pupil (the light seen through the eye lens when held away from your eyes) to get the magnification.
