@LILShaggy805 AA3.0, and all previous versions, crash often. And sometimes when it crashes, session data and time alignment is lost. I do use it however, version CS5.5, for some editing tasks. I would not recommend it for recording sessions. Too risky.

They will all sound the same. Load an audio file into Adobe, Acid, Cubase, Protools, and play the file, they will sound the same.....no DAW sounds better. Its the functions, tools and options that make one DAW more efficient than another. Which one has the options you need. I like Cubase 5, it allows panning/routing of actual sends, as well as a Daul Panner, and Combined panner. As well as no plugin latency issues like protools...

Correct, autotune is not the same as talkbox. This is obvious. I show how to impart a talkbox type sonic character/sound onto vocals, without using a talkbox. A real talkbox has a sound of its own. You obviously didn't watch this video, or you would have caught that, as well as the demonstration.

Thats not what I do. But I have tried that of course. The midi option will not have a smooth shift from note to note. Far too much work. I will be creating a new free tutorial, soon. Gonna give some secrets out that are being used in the industry. That can help you get smoother autotune results from the get go. And if you still aren't satisfied with the sound, or want an even smoother autotune sound, that is where the smooth autotune/talkboxed vocals tutorials come in.

I created most of it, Used some samples. And I arranged it. But I wasn't trying to actually sing to impress. I actually sung with alot of vibrato and added some glissando on the end.On the word "be"(last word). Just to show that it can smooth out glissando(pitch sliding). But thanks none the less.

just get the antares vocal producer and set it to the key you sing in. as long as you know how to sing somewhat, you will get a very good sound. I put mine in the key of C Major and its amazing.

The key you sing in?? Totally wrong. You have to set it to the key of the instrumental. If the instrumental is in Dminor, and you sing in CMajor, you would be off key. And this is something most people already know. That will not smooth out autotune. Any amount of vibrato, glissando, or trill of the vocal will cause autotune to be jumpy. All that doesn't matter when you employ my technique. You're not limited to how you must sing the part. It elimanates multiple vocal takes to get smooth sounds.

None is better than the other. It depends on which one has features you like. For instance. When plugin developers create plugins(VST), you can bet they will work on Cubase, Nuendo or Protools. Some may not work on Adobe Audition or other programs.

Adobe Audition has better editing functions, and better graphical display in Editing Mode. Awsome frequency analysis options. The best chorus effect Ive heard anywhere. But those are my opinions.

Adobe Audition is Cool Edit, but upgraded so to speak.

Well, of course setting the key is not a special technique. I show that it is important to set the key in the video however. But setting the key properly will just keep you in tune with the instrumental, not eliminate the jerky/erratic correction of autotune, or any pitch correction program.

So the video is alot more than that. I also show mixing of the effect, Effects Routing, Eq, Compression, and Reverb.

As well as how to obtain a talkbox type tonality to the vocal.

Mostly, erratic note shifting just depends on how well you sing it. If your voice has a lot of vibrato and you're between let's say a C and a C#; It's going to jump back and forth a lot. It happens to me live a lot.

No, the techniques employed in the video allows, anyone with vibrato or pitch-drifting during the tracking phase, to sing however they want, and still employ the method to smooth out the autotune. This will prevent recording take after take, just to get the vocal just right.

Also, allows artist to still perform glissando(pitch sliding), and then still get smooth sounding effect.
