The S sign is a speed restriction sign and the R is the resume speed sign. These are use to designate the limits of a speed restriction zone. There should be a A sign leading up to the S sign, this would be the approach sign to the restricted area. All would be covered by bulletin orders and form D by the railroad. Nice video!!
Those are bridgeplates. They WERE using them because they were working on that track for a long period of time. But a little over a month ago they took them off because they're now working on track 2.

Yes that is correct only on MN, the A sign is only placed if there is a work area up ahead. Thanks!!

Why do some stations have those platform extensions going over a track? why dont they just use that track?
