The Powerstroke with the least amount of torque ever was the early 7.3, 505 LB-FT of torque. New 6.7 Powerstroke is at 800 LB-FT, it's a monster. I was mentioning the F150 gasser, since someone compared it to a Duramax a couple years ago, when that comment was made.

@chevy23123 These sleds progressively get harder to pull as the trucks move down the track, the trucks are competing to see how far they can pull the sled.

its a competition to see who has the most traction / power, the point of it originally was for competing with tractors, whatever tractor could pull the sled the farthest could pull the biggest plow / implement through the field. (again bragging rights)

Everybody knows the transmission is the real weak link in all of the diesel pick-ups, yes even the allison... put a little bit extra power to the allison and she goes into limp mode....

this maybe true but you also look at when the tranny goes out at stock. Allsion's go quite a while. Mine has over 250,000 and still no overhaul needed. Every torqflite that has rolled through my buddies shop has between 125,000 - 175,000. And that's major overhaul stock setup.

um.. the power stroke and the cummins baddly beat the duracrap. the dmax only looks good on the dyno and the drag strip. these are supposed to be work trucks not race cars. the f150 can tow more than a dmax. that a FACT. proof is in the door jambs. and well... im not even gonna get into the cummins. best pick up truck diesel ever made. hands down.
