  • Listen to Larry King, trying to dub Brando as a Jew, lol!

    You're part Jewish, right? STFU.

  • Is it just me or the chick in the first ad is kinda like Tom Cruise?

  • HAHA! the singular commercial dude is in Avatar. ...just sayin...

  • "Regret is useless in life" summed it up perfectly.

  • Actually, I think Larry understood quite well what Brando was saying, but as an interviewer he had to make sure the piece stayed on track. Problem is, he tried to usher Brando along far to much, when a more laissez-faire approach would've worked just as well, and provided us, the viewer, with more insight into the man's psyche.

  • Those are some awful phones.

  • He was funny and great

  • Larry Douche

  • brando boooooooore

  • Larry King Is A Bitch For Not Letting This Talk.

  • @djhitman323 Man

  • Marlon Brando was a fag. At the end of his life he became a fat fag LOL

  • It speaks volumes that the greatest actor of them all had no delusions of grandeur. Food for thought.

  • The news scroll at the bottom of the screen is hilarious, btw!

  • Regret is definitely useless in life!

  • I do noticed Larry King likes cut in on interview, just impatient I quess..

  • Where the fuck did larry get Brando was part jewish???...lol..The guy is the farthest thing from a jew...hes not.

  • Thumbs up if you noticed a young Joel David Moore in the cingular commercial!!

  • Regret is an useless thing, well said Brando.

  • "Do I have to turn into an applause junkie in order to feel good about myself?"

That line had me laughing so hard. Hollywood today certainly has it's applause junkies, doesn't it?

  • @LLWChampion Not just Hollywood. Youtube too.

  • Larry synopsisizes too quickly and tries to précis the obvious bigger picture that Marlon is trying to make

  • I've realized no matter how big they get, they have to pay their electric bills. David Duchovney once told just a part of his expenses. You think because they get a lot at the time that they could live on that but once all of their expenses are taken out, there isn't much left. 10% to their agents to begin with. Their big parts don't continue and they have to take what's offered. Just like anyone else. I use to wonder why they'd take come horrible parts but I understand that a bit.

  • brandon owned king when the subject turned to theater.... lmao. I dont need applause... do i need to turn into an applause junkie to feel good about myself ??? Eat that King... you piece of dog turd. Marlon Brando always had his feet set on the ground and would hustle studios for millions.... Superman? He got paid like 4 million to be on screen for like 4 min.... HUSTLER !

  • appaluse junkie lmao, Brando is great.

  • Marlon Brando is such a well spoken gentleman, I admire the fact that he asks if his feet are in view of the camera and apologizes for not putting on shoes.

  • @pslowly9t1 I admire the fact that he forgot to put his shoes on, lol

  • Wow, Hannah Arendt is the connection between Martin Heidegger and Marlon Brando. They should have met, I think Brando would have appreciated Heideggers Denken.

  • just let the man speak you prick, tryin to explain what you asked and then stop him

  • Marlon Brando says "The regret is useless in Life; it belongs to the past" very powerful.

  • genius

  • haha! Larry, do you need applause?

  • I think Brando while sometimes over simplifying and over demonizing his own culture was a very noble activist. I think he became one because he attained artistic, popular, critical, & commercial success so early in his life that he had a chance as a naturally reflective and shy man to see how much crap that goes along with excessive privilege at the end of the rainbow. And I give him HUGE credit for not really seeking it later, instead trying to be an advocate for social atonement in the US.

  • I mean really how many great actors that became as famous as Brando would you buy as truly meaning, "who cares if you get applause?" And in his 1973 interview he totally takes off other actors who try to overly inflate the activity of acting as some amazing skill. He says it is just a craft that is not more or less valuable than any other craft. And he meant that. I am not sure I agree but admire what i think is his rejection of the inherent narcissism that can become part of many actors.

  • he was so handsome but put on way too much weight

  • @saintsFlow Happens to the best of us.

  • Comment removed

  • "Do I have to turn to an applause junkie to fell good about myself?"............. now i don;t know about you, but thats gold.

  • Brando is so godfather, no matter how annoying larry queen is, he kept cool! never gets angry with your enemy!

  • @renmu1106 i agree (:

  • i love the mute button for the ads.

  • what does he mean by "swipe stuff" at 1:16?

  • @Minus3Hertz Brando thinks that King is asking him if he ever stole anything and regretted it. King meant did Brando ever regret a role that he took.

  • What a man

  • 4:07 the guy from Avatar. see, you gotta start somewhere

  • "So you're pretending when you're playing the Godfather?" what a fuckin' idiot.

  • Larry interrupts when Brando starts to make interesting points. Fuck Larry King!

  • @loombaron I know! So pissed! I really want to hear his process damn it!

  • @loombaron Plus, Larry completely "missed" Marlon's joke about theater.

  • the problem is the conversation is not real. brando said it very well - larry king's there for the money, and he just wants answers. he doesn't care about brando, when brando goes on to deliberate on stuff. i personally dont like this kind of approach.

  • I dont mind that King interrupts because they are having a proper conversation and he isnt in awe of Brando

  • well Marlon obviously likes Larry, he says as much, I think the reason that Larry is commanding the speed of the interview is because Marlon has a tendency to go off on tangents and not actually answer the question. Much as I think Marlon is the most inspiring, funny, modest, sweet, interesting character, he ALWAYS comes back to this thing that ANYONE can act, and e'one is an actor and even when you say hi to your boss you're acting. I have seen it in all of his interviews, & it just ain't true.

  • How many people would have put a tissue on his face and dry Larry's brow?

    THAT"S being human.

  • Comment removed

  • ''Are you saying that when you are "The Godfather" you're pretending?''

    ...''sure, I'm pretending''.

I understand the topic but, I'm not sure about that question.

He answered nice, but I can't help wondering how he would've answered that question if Larry had been talking to 70's Brando.

  • who cares about appluase?

wise words from a wise man

  • At 4:04 it's metal legs guy from Grandma's Boy.

  • @piddleton why would the interviewer let the interviewee choose the flpow of the interview, its the otha way round retard. Its larrys show. Fuck yo 61 thumbs up

  • I think Brando has absolutely no respect for Hollywood.

Seriously...no shoes, and pajamas that show absolutely no male bulge.

    Is he gay????

  • Aaaand at 4:03 that guy will be part of Avatar freakin 14 years later...

  • @PUArtista This is Larry King classics...which means its a repeat...

  • @PUArtista Those aren't 1994 commercials. It says "King's Classics" so it's not the original airing.

  • you fucking commercial

  • stupid you forgott to cut the publicity

  • Comment removed

  • "...blah,blah,blah-Oh there are my shoes..." haha. <3 Brando.

  • See how he never lets the interviewer control the interview, Larry is trying so hard but is amused by Marlon misdirection, I think Marlon was so intelligent that everything was just boring. I wish he would have let us tap into what he new tho, geniuses usually don't.

  • Good God I didn't realize Larry King was so utterly stupid. He can't understand a damn concept Brando is elucidating.

  • @echoshadowlight Have you ever considered the act of pretence? i.e LK is pretending he doesnt get it. LK is far wiser than you know my friend

  • i never saw larry king so excited and active. marlon brando must was really quite the man.

  • 6:47 sylvester the cat hahahahahahha

  • Their presonalities clash: Larry, a fast-talking, blunt New Yorker, and Marlon, a philosophical, slow-talking artist.

They both made some mistakes here, but over-all Larry was a douche.

  • hey philip morris ! youre supposed to MAKE kids start smoking ! NOT tell them NOT to ! fuck ! I invested on the stupidity of people ! watch my racist vids

  • take the commercials out!! thumbs up if you agree with me! lol

  • @abbot86 It always strikes me as being a little odd when people ask for the little green thumb next to their post. Like you need to feel popular or vindicated in your opinion.

  • @abbot86,

totally agreed the commercials are so annoying.

and hate the "thumbs-up-thumbs-down" rating system...but THAT'S another YT vid

  • I dont like the way Larry keeps interrupting, he should just let him speak his mind out, like Dick Cavett did.

  • applause junkie lol lol classic

  • Seconded!

  • he tells the same like decades earlier at dick cavett -- but he is a really funny guy, very natural and cool!

  • I like that he didn't talk about himself the entire time. Even though he was once the most attractive man to have ever lived the best actor of all time he didnt go on about himself. I find him so facinating, and even in his worse state there is still something absolutely captivating about him.

  • He's an actor with an internal locus of control.....so people can't figure him out. I love it, and him. Brando Forever!!!

  • YAY! He found his shoes! :D

  • larry the lizard needs to shut the fuck up so we can hear and see brando

  • Applause junkie. lol!

  • THE GREATES ACTOR OF ALL TIME!

    HAND DOWN BUDDYS

  • One of the most memorable characters in the history of cinema... Don Corleone. Brando at his best when many Hollywood types thought he was washed up...

  • @415bsn 9:09 did brando take his hearing aid out so he wouldnt have to hear larry bitch? lol

  • i think brando was perfect for the godfather because they both act like theyre just rambling on when they actually are more aware and alert than anyone. they decieve

  • i fucking love this!!! the only moment we have is sitting here talking rightr now and.....u cant see my feet can you? its funny because i know how much that pissed larry off, and i think brando knew it too. u can tell brando is an artist, because everything he says to larry is in a kind of code. larry cant understand it cuz hes stupid and thinks brando is rambling, but that whole, path of what were doing right now meant that he doesnt waste time on regret, he lives for now. a good way 2 be.

  • why are the commercials included

  • larry king is a jerk assface brando was great

  • I LIKE HIM, GREAT MAN

  • lmfao brando liked PR music yeah!!

  • he does this in every interview. king is a lousy interviewer and a lousy human being generally speaking. he's not very smart and it's sad how popular this jackass is.

  • "the important thing to ask yourself is, 'do you really KNOW what you know.'"

    Brando was great.

  • "God...do I have to turn into an applause junkie in order to feel good about myself?"

    Classic.

LOL @ the hole in the leg. How true!

  • 1:53 it's strange, in a way he looks older in The Godfather than he does in the interview. I guess it's the sombre & severe atmosphere & vibe he achieves in that role.

  • if u know nothing about Brando why do you post? he was not a homosexual. maybe bisexual, but definitely not homo.

  • Brando tries to play up Larry in this interview.

Must be so frustrating for Larry.

  • dude, he banged marilyn monroe. yeah, that makes him gay. idiot

  • @TheMohican77 He did? hm. Shelly Winters says it was her.

  • his crotch must hurt

  • "Larry, that was a GREAT show. Oh God, I've never seen you so stimulated and so inspired in.. in asking the questions of this person."

    Heh hee, hilarious.

  • as an actor he was the greatest, as a person and an interviewee he was a hypocrite. there I said it.

  • everybody is hypocrite-but actors make a living out of it...

  • He is just saying what he thinks, aren't you a hypocrite for criticizing his honesty and sincerity?

  • look it was a joke come on poeple

  • i watch youtube to AVOID commercials. come on.

  • He's fascinating. He's like this big, fat, beat-up, sophisticated, innocent baby. He doesn't know what he wants to do with his life.

There are plenty of people in that boat.

  • Good description of Brando.

  • Brando was a drummer who wanted to play Timbales. in a Puerto Rican Mambo band....Brando was a fan of Tito Puente because of friends like Rita Moreno and Miriam Colon Puerto Rican actresses.

  • u=i fucking hate larry king

  • God Larry is annoying.

  • @BachRocks314 Amen!

  • @BachRocks314 I have to repeat it again, " Larry King is fucking annoying"

  • @waiting4smtin RF Don't watch if you don't like it.

  • @JimAsian1 dickhead how would i know it'd suck this hard b4 I watched it ha? fuck otta here with u'r dumb answer

  • @BachRocks314 I have to repeat it again, " Larry King is fucking annoying" wish somebody else was interviewing brando. charlie rose would have done a much much much better job

  • @BachRocks314 It was not Larry's the best job and not the easiest one.

Marlon is very not easy person to deal with, at given situation, too.

    Starting with "no shoes" etc....

  • Marlon Brando might've been a supporter of apartheid Israel but regardless of his woeful politics he is truly a legend!

    King is okay too.

  • He renounces his support in his biography

  • Really? That's good to know. What does he say? I like all my favourite movie stars to have the same politics as me, perhaps that says more about me than them.

  • Something along the lines of when he was young he thought everything was black and white and wasn't aware of all the facts as far as the terrorist action taken out against the palestinians

  • What are talking about? Marlon Brando marched and supported civil rights, supported Native American causes, and African American churches to name a few. Marlon has always been the champion of the underdog.

  • That Phillip Morris ad on getting children avoiding smoking is one of the weirdes shit i ever seen. Is it some fucked up diabolical scheem on using antipsycology to enduce childrens natural reflex of doing opposite what parents saying and thereby become smokers?

No one in there right sences can truly belive this evil corporation is enducing people not to smoke. It made me almoust sick to my stomack to see it.

  • there is no such thing as 'antipsychology'

  • i meant reverse psychology..

  • I know...there is no such thing as reverse psychology either. I understand the concept...and it happens...but it is a term lay people use and is not a term used in the field of psychology.

  • seriously!

  • lol Did he put the tissue paper in his ear? 9:10

  • No, he took his ear-piece out.

  • hahahhaha

  • Comment removed

  • stellllaaaaaa

  • I completely agree, the interviewer just spoils it so much.

  • "oh theres my shoes" lol brando cracks me up

  • Nice work, that's funny.

  • larry ruined it completely.when you know that he gives rare interviews atleast let him talk when he finally agrees to do one. it's sad marlon chose to come on this idiot's show. he needed a more sensitive and intelligent interviewer.

  • Don't you wonder why Marlon let himself go? What causes someone to lose such repect for one's body? What a great actor of such reflective nature. Greatness.

  • it's called diabetes

  • no, he didn't get diabetes until he started gaining more weight

  • Sad to have such a poor interviewer interviewing such a legend. Larry is such a sad case. I could get a 4th grader to ask better quesions than this Schumck with his Schtick. Sad!!!!!!!!!!

  • marlon looks kinda like lewis black from some angles.

  • "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse"

  • Marlon Brando the Icon.

    Much missed. RIP.

  • interrupting Brando with commercials...profanation...;)

  • You got that right, brother

  • Larry King is a fuckin ASS monkey.. idiot..he cant even begin to comprehend what Brando was tryin to say

  • True ..but he should KNOW that going into an interview with BRANDO..He was fully aware of his eccentricity. Everyone know that about him..He was being a lil condescending i thought. You cant treat an interview with BRANDO like u can any Joe Shcmo...He should just LISTEN..The interview is for US..the Fans..not for KING to show how clever he thinks he is...Typical East Coast Jew shit..( not that i hate jews..they are FUNNY..

  • I get the feeling Brando was one of King's idols and that's probably why he looks like a fool. You can tell he's nervous. Then again.. so would I haha

  • Larry knows if he lets him digress, he is lost. Let him digress!

  • Heeeey, Steeeela!

  • king is being a dick, he keeps cutting brando off

  • he didn't use his potential, but there is acting before Brando and acting after, I'd like to propose that brando appealed to the Blue Collar crowd. he talks to people and acted in a way that included everyone.

  • "Okay, are you saying that when you are the Godfather, you're pretending?" - is Larry King being intentionally antagonistic with this puerile line of questioning or is he literally so retarded that he is unaware of the fact that when Marlon Brando played the part of Don Corleone, he was not, in fact, an actual mafia boss, but was playing a part? I ask because he poses the question with an unbridled enthusiasm that suggests sincerity.

  • I love the way you worded that :)

  • thanks again.

I guess I'd read it if the opportunity presented itself.

  • thank you. do you think I'd like the book even though I'm not a big fan of his? I'm more a fan of old Hollywood than anything. Does it have many stories about co-stars and behind the scenes info and stuff like that or is it all about him?

  • what's his autobiography he plugged with this interview called?

  • "Songs My Mother Taught Me"

  • just imagine marlon brando to give a screen test for godfather. i mean how can they do that. he is MARLON BRANDO.

  • Such an interesting fellow. :)
