i just mainly have sports sims that are able to use 2 controllers for, though i have some old arcade games tht allow multiplayer and these pads work a treat :)
ye sure u can m8.. theres various adventure games tht allow multiplayer,, i use 4 players on virtua tennis at times as i have 2 wireless logitech pads aswell
funny, i've really simmilar components, same fan, same gigabyte mobo, same graphics, same power supply, and i even use my xbox 360 controller with it,...
however, why do you need to have 2 controllers plugged into the computer for?
lol if ur askin u need a seperate psu to run the 8800 cards or any cards no u dont use seperate supplys for any card but u do have to make sure your power supply will handle this card or any card make sure u have the right connector PCI 6 pin, and make sure u have enough Amps on the 12V rail u find this all on the side of the psu usually i think these cards need like 28-30 amps think lol hope that helped
Never actuall tried it to be honest bud, but ive now sold the 8800 gts as ive just bought a BFG 8800 Ultra OC , just waiting for it to be delivered now.. so ill do a test when i recieve the card :)
Hey, should I get an EVGA 640mb 8800 GTS? My budget's a tad low, and I wanted to get a nice DX 10 card now, instead of buying a bad one, then upgrading. I really just want to replace my old 6600 (lol). And, by the way, your accent is 1337.
i went SLI with 640 GTS's and well if the game actually supports and optimised with it i found it to be only about a 40% increase personally, and SLI wont be optimised for DX10 for a long while yet, so i ended up selling both and buying a GTX.
SLI doesnt scale so good, where's crossfire scales almost with a 100% increase in performance, 2x2900's beat 2x8800GTX's for instance, not to mention the game doesnt need to be Crossfire optimise as like SLI, in runs in all games.
lol mate u aint got a clue tbh, 2xHD2900XT cards get just short of about 13000 in something like 3DMark 06. The exact same spec machine running a single 8800GTX I was getting about 11500 (E6850, 2gb ddr2). Ive seen machines with 8800GTX in sli closing in on 20k and im sure some ppl have passed the 20k mark. Maybe crossfire does see an increase more then seen in SLI but atm the current range of ATI cards just isn't close to the 8800 GTX or Ultra Cards!!
okay the gts is nice and all, but the resolutions for that monitor are above 2500 by 1600, therefore one 8800 gts would not cut it, you should get sli gtss' if you want the best resolutions of that monitor
i have that same Zalman 9700 cooler, and my e6400 is overclocked to 3.6ghz and idle at 97-100F ..with my memory at 900mhz....my ram is 2gb corsair xms2 pc800
hey bud.. i use all 4 pads that i have connected to my pc. We have some fun 4 player action on Virtua Tennis 3.. Works great with ,dirt, splinter cell etc..
nice rig man...im soon to get a pc just like that and i already have that exact same tv..i was wondering where you got that desk from? lol it would be really useful for me, do you know where i could get one of those? thanks
hey bud, cheers for the compliments.. Glad to see u already have the tv its reat for the games lol.. As for the desk, i bought it about 5yrs ago, damn good though plenty of space etc. I got it from argos beleive it or not, not sure what type of desks they currently have though. But its always a good idea to check out ebay.. hope that helped. :)
Hi the driver was related to windows xp64 bit.But has since been resoved :).Right the physics card basically handles all in game physics ie, explosions, smoke effects, ripping of clothes etc. to see it in action look on here for cellfactor. I have a phew demos myself which ill get put up for you . h and the price ranges from £120 - £160 . :)
hey m8, thx . Im really into my gaming so try n keep it up to date as much as i can. Im hoping to get another XFX 8800 GTS to run sli. But not sure wen ill be upgrading to tht..
i just got an 8800gts 640mb - im 4 years behind you .lolz waiting 4 delivery!!! anyway better than the 7900gtx i just selling on ebay.
