President and Mrs. Obama's had a date night foray to New York City — which included three Gulf stream-size planes to transport the presidents security detail, staff, and White House reporters.
How romantic and the date left just a tad of a carbon footprint on the environment.
Are there no reporters in New York City?
Obama paid for the tickets to the show and the rest of the date was on the taxpayers dime.
Imagine you are the president, and you get to read the most frightening, horrible reports that most of you think you'd like to read, but I guarantee, if any of you actually saw an intelligence brief, you'd be praying to God you forgot what you read 5 minutes after.
That is why bush went into the office looking young and left gray haired, and if you notice Obama's hair, it's already graying. I've lived around data gathering and processing to know that I really don't want to remember what I read.
I think if all of you paused and thought about the information we all have access to on the internet, and at the end of the day... we're trying to deconstruct the evil of it enough to reach our kids, who are actively engaged in what is likely worse than what we older people see, you can understand what it must be like to read the intelligence reports he gets. He's essentially the priest of the nation, and he has to tell his congregation the truth without frightening everybody to death.
