There are some incredibly dumb comments here. I hate having to defend Slipknot, but Joey had to go running a few miles before recording drums on Iowa just to get his heart-rate up fast enough to play his own songs, they're that fast. I hate that album, I'm just sayin... And the bit about Slipknot dressing "death metal" is a joke, surely. All that aside, I'm confused as to why they even came up in comparison to Offspring. You're allowed to like both bands, it doesn't make you any gayer.

@ratpoisoner666 Completely different styles of music, agree with you. You can't compare the 2 in any way. I prefer the Offspring just because the sound, even during Ignition and Smash, is more refined than in Slipknot. But that's just me...
