@slaney141 on Windows yes :) not on ubuntu no, because I have ubuntu installed inside of windows and it can't reach out of it's box. So it can only read where it's installed and the windows install is basically out of it's reach :)
I did the same thing, used Wubi to install. BUT when i booted windows seven i got a BSOD, so i restored my system to a previous staet via a restore point, i did so and lost the uninstall of ubuntu in C:\Ubuntu NOW windwos works great, but if i go into ubuntu and then back to windows seven i get BSOD
@haroldcore13 this program creates a folder in your windows drive called " ubuntu " and inside their is all of Ubuntu's files and everything it needs. Yes, when the computer is turned on the "windows boot manager" asks which one to start. But if you select Ubuntu it's really using the same drive as your Windows drive. Just 1 folder on that drive :)
I so gotta do this sometime!

so pretty much Wubi is like a software that makes a partition on your hard drive withouth formating it and making u lose anything?
haroldcore13 3 months ago
@haroldcore13 it doesn't partition your hard drive, that's one of the best features :D
TheHacker0007 3 months ago

Ubunto (oo-boon-too lol) would be great if it wasn't so hard to change screen resolution.
