I've read Wiernik's "A year in Treblinka" not hard to find. But while I'm cirtenly no holocaust denier, I will admit there are a few minor descrepincies throughout. He states very clearly he never saw ANY compasion from ANY of the Nazis. Ok, I believe that, killing was their business. But then two or three times further in the book, he writes about a few individual Nazi officers that were very kind to him and treated him well. I found that odd.

“Survivor”accounts usually say that diesel exhaust killed virtually everyone in 15 mins or so.
As strange as it sounds, diesel exhaust would have actually kept people alive longer because it is mostly air, and it would have prevented people from suffocating. An airtight room would have killed much more effectively than the mythical diesel chambers.

The footage of bodies at Belsen and Buchenwald isn’t made up. In the last months of the war the camps in Germany were massively overcrowded with inmates who had CHOSEN to come from Eastern camps like Auschwitz before they were overrun by the Soviets.
At that time most of Germany was in ruins, transport to the camps had been cut by Allied bombing and there were limited supplies of food and medicines to SOME camps. Under these conditions Typhus outbreaks killed thousands of people in those camps, but there are plenty of photographs of healthy prisoners at liberation. These photos are never used by documentaries etc., but they exist in abundance.

I think you will agree that no one in the camp had much reason to say anything good about the camp staff. Many people in the camp were political enemies of the German Government : communists, partisans etc. There is no doubt that the Auschwitz Underground (composed of communist prisoners) was generating "German atrocity" propaganda which was used by the Allies.

We do know, however, that a word was changed, so it's reasonable to assume that other things have changed as well. Or rather, there's no reason to think that they have not been changed. I've read Wiernik's "A year in Treblinka" not hard to find. But while I'm cirtenly no holocaust denier, I will admit there are a few minor descrepincies throughout. He states very clearly he never saw ANY compasion from ANY of the Nazis. Ok, I believe that, killing was their business. But then two or three times further in the book, he writes about a few individual Nazi officers that were very kind to him and treated him well. I found that odd.

The footage of bodies at Belsen and Buchenwald isn’t made up. In the last months of the war the camps in Germany were massively overcrowded with inmates who had CHOSEN to come from Eastern camps like Auschwitz before they were overrun by the Soviets.

At that time most of Germany was in ruins, transport to the camps had been cut by Allied bombing and there were limited supplies of food and medicines to SOME camps. Under these conditions Typhus outbreaks killed thousands of people in those camps, but there are plenty of photographs of healthy prisoners at liberation. These photos are never used by documentaries etc., but they exist in abundance.

This was written when she met Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge and she and Muller compiled her memoirs and made a book out if it. Who those prisoners were? In answer to your question ; Yes, I think the obvious fallacies in Wiernik's book (such as him being shot at close range without the bullet wounding him) do render his whole account useless, and an honest historian would not cherry pick plausible sounding "evidence" from such a source.

I agree with you that historians shouldn't "cherry pick" as you say, but I think that if they discover an account in his work that corroborates with several other accounts from unrelated sources, that should be at least considered.

I think you will agree that no one in the camp had much reason to say anything good about the camp staff. Many people in the camp were political enemies of the German Government : communists, partisans etc. There is no doubt that the Auschwitz Underground (composed of communist prisoners) was generating "German atrocity" propaganda which was used by the Allies.

I dont believe there was a plan to systematically exterminate the Jews. I think the extermination story began as war propaganda and has been maintained to serve Zionist objectives. At Nuremburg it was claimed that people were murdered in "steam chambers", electrocuted in chambers that had wiring in the floor, suffocated in "vacuum chambers" that had the air pumped out of them and many other claims were made that have been dropped in the current story.

You should find it interesting. It focuses completely on the Nuremburg Tribunal. The best book I could recommend for an overall perspective is Germar Rudolfs LECTURES ON THE HOLOCAUST. You can download it for free at Rudolfs home page. If you read that book you will have a good idea of the revisionist case and can judge it for yourself.

Coal was used to start the fires in the cremas. Once the fires were started, they placed women's bodies at the bottom because of their higher body fat ratio, placing thinner people on top and letting the fat burn, thus requiring them to feed less coal in.

I'm not anti-semetic in any way. I swear that my grandfather was in a concentration camp, that's why I was interested to watch.

It's par for the course of any pseudo-scientific belief system. Most of the deniers that I have come across don't even know what the "official" story is, much less what they are denying. I could understand denial to a point, but it always involves some sort of Hitler rehabilitation or plain, old-fashioned anti-Semitism. The ironic thing is that the denier's anti-Semitism only makes the Holocaust more plausible because it shows how stupid and virulent conspiracy theories can become.

They used a great deal more than Yankel's book. That's a false claim that you begin with. Secondly, you make a very poor point. When historians are considering the validity of something, first hand accounts are completely dismissed if they're shown to contain lied. This "wheat from the chaff," thing doesn't work.
A first hand account, by definition, does not have independent, corroborating sources. Yankel's book was a fraud, but that's not all that he used.
