I'm not gonna lie I busted a nut when I heard this remix, but to each his own. In my opinion the original beat by Premier captures the essence of the story better than Pete's version. The original's sharp and dangerous sounds keeps you on the edge of your seat and has an almost paranoid feeling to it, almost like approaching a corner of a street at night. Pete's remix is like listening to something out of Aesop's Fables while coolin out.

Both have their merits depending on the listener. Peace.
