The reason why u see only one king tiger in this mission is that they're exreamly hard to make. But 2nd to the king tiger ace, anyway the king tiger was so complex and hard to make that only 10,000 were produced in WW2 so that's why there're so few and u only only see one in this mission

lol I sssoooooo spamed this mission, i just kept digging trenches (God-Mode) for my troops armed them with panzershreks (from other mission) and just sat at the catherdiral.
i did nothing you said too do yet i beat this my first try with fewer than 50 dead, haha, ambushes rock, that and all those acquisitioned PAK-38s i had, i had 1 17 pounder fort, 2 churches, and 2-3 Fireflies, the remaining troops were all inf, constly nonetheless but easy mission

The British 17-Pounder gun is by far the most effective anti-armor weapon in the game.
The PIATs suck though.

The easiest way to kill The King Tiger is to flank it. I recommend to use The Firefly.
