If Made in Mumbai is anything to go by, Mumbais on its way up there with Tokyo, New York and London. The West may talk of loss of tradition and rise of consumerism, but the people of Mumbai seem keen to modernise. This is a city that is rapidly modernising and building vast projects such as roads, bridges and skywalks.
P.S. Does anyone know how many Mumbai residents are still living at or below the poverty line?

@kjahern1 a lot, south india seems better off when it comes to education and pov. levels, yet they are hated the most in india :/
