  • FANTASTISK*****

  • Moddi is the best musical discovery I have ever made. Can't stop listening. It is just too wonderful.

  • ...GREATEST SONG EVER, DON'T KNOW ABOUT OF IT'S MEANING, BUT I'M FELLING THE MUSIC, SOUL & LOVE IN IT, SO TASTY EVERY MOMENT...

  • FREAKING AWESOME!!!

  • freely translated:

    Hook staff material

Not all the seeds blowed to the best land, some rooted where the land was steepest, but all wanted out, dreamed themselves big, but fate did not grant everyone the same soil. Some became straight poles in the sunshine side, other crooked in the cliffs in the shadow side. Many kinds of good wood I could mention, but don't search for hook staff material on the sunny side.

  • @Hleng1980 that is so pretty.thank you.

  • Moddi sounds more magic singing in Norwegian ;)

  • UNBELIVEABLE !!!

I`m from Germany - and was fixed by Moddy since he was in Hamburg (Germany)

This Song normally doesnt need a translation - because of that "Big-Feeling-Breeze" - but i`m also interested in what this Song means...

(Look for my video-Cut - token from ARTE-TV...)

Haha, Moddi e bære hærli :)

  • i´ve seen so many concerts but the most incredible was moddi in hannover -feinkost lampe. the atmosphere was very intimate and i enjoyed the little stories between the songs. if you have the chance to see a concert ,do it!

oh and since i´ve heard this song the first time, i have to hear it every day ..theres just nothing comparable to it.

  • man I've fallen in love with Moddi. i can't find their album "Floriography" anywhere though.

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays try beat dot no (although I'm not sure if that site works outside of Norway..)

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays

  • this beautiful nature in Norway, this beautiful voice of moddi, and these very talented musicians creating this wonderful sadness in me.

I lost my heart in you!

  • veldig fin musikk, og han som synger har en kjempe behagelig og herlig stemme!

  • Mmh, grøsser på ryggen!:)

  • Jeg liker denne bedre enn studio versjonen.

  • Beautiful Moddi! Just so beautiful!!!

  • Einfach wundervoll! Musik aus tiefster Seele und Herzen von Künstlern, die diese Natur geprägt hat...

    Grüße in den hohen Norden!

  • you poser. your countryside is so awesome! ^^

  • Snedig setting

  • Fantastisk låt til et rystende sterkt og gripende dikt.

Artisten er Pål Moddi Knutsen og venner.

Diktet er "Krokstav-emne" av Senja dikteren Helge Stangnes.

  • its very nice!

  • Uwielbiam <3. Uslyszany na festiwalu wujek.

  • god I really wanna know what this song is all about... it's so good

  • @buddytheoc

Send me a mail, and I'll explain. :)

  • @Djtobidj hey, I want to know as well! :)

  • @emmahke

  • @buddytheoc I don't speak his particular dialect, but I interpret the poem as being about seeds rolling down and settling in the steepest hill. It's a poem about the norwegian nature, you could say.

  • @kem8seven Actuall, it is about how having a tough life can make somebody a better person. -The seeds are symbolizing people, and 'all the seeds didn't get to grow in the same kind of soil' basically means that not everybody are given the same opportunities, but somehow, the seeds growing up away from sunshine turns out sturdier and sometimes more unique:)

  • @kem8seven Actually, it's about how having a tough life can make one a better person. The seeds symbolize people, and 'not all sees get to grow up in the same kind of soil' means that not everybody are born with the same opportunities and advantages, but somehow the plants growing up away from sunshine turns out sturdier and sometimes more unique than the others:)
