Did you install the Snow Leopard on your Macbook which had Tiger? Do you have to get Leopard first? Or does it still work if you upgrade it from Tiger?
with this did you buy the $29 software update or the expensive box set? Also, did you back up all of your files? I heard that upgrading from tiger to snow leopard you had to back everything up to an external hard drive because this install deletes everything. Will i still have all my olds programs?
@snickersman96 yes i bought the box for $29. and no you dont have to back up. I would recommend it but you most likely wont loss your files. some people just like to do a fresh install
is this a 1gb macbook? If yes how is the snow leopard experience on it?Lags of any kind something i should worry about or everything is running smoothly as with tiger?
@devrante yes it is the 1gb macbook. snow leaopard runs fine, there were a few where it lagged a little but overall it ran very smoothly, and recently upgraded to 2gb and now it works great
