  • "Hello Touno-kun.

It's been a little long since we last met. How have you been?

I was hesitating a lot, but I feel like there's something I must tell you."

and then Touno "reads" the text aloud from 5:17

  • What did the text say?

  • Thanks to the other episodes of "5 Centimeters Per Second", I ran out of tears for this episode.

  • I dont have Tears for this Episode.....

    T_T

  • 6:22 i was singing that song in my head and it came on lol.

  • One more thing. Lol..... its also ironic how they both wrote letters confessing thier true feeling for each other, (in the first story) but niether of them share the letter. (Takaki loses his from the wind in the subway station and Akari decided not to give it to him and keep it.) Akari eventually recovers that old letter and begins to have dreams of the past.

  • I am happy the movie turned out the way it did.

Takaki stands and waits after he knowingly passes by Akari and waits realizing that if she still had feelings for him she would stay there on the opposite side of the traintracks looking back at him.

    (SPOILER)

  • Continuing from my last thought....

(SPOILER) After the train passes by Akari is no where to be seen. Takaki infers that she has moved on with her life and he decides to do the same. I think it was great that they moved on with their lives and stopped clinging to the past.

  • The ending of this anime is so sad but I'm drawn to unrequited love because I can relate to it. I hope that everything will turn out in the end but when it doesn't, I'm drawn to the story more than if it had a happy ending. It makes me feel more for the characters and makes them seem so real.

  • This...it...it makes me feel empty inside...I cried....

  • What does the text say?

  • This anime is so realistic!

  • Das ist alles immer sooo langsam, aber trotzdem schön anzuschauen. :-)

  • I almost cry while watching this movie.

it really hard to hold back my tears.
