This is great, thanks for making this video. Curious - why do you merge all the video clips into a single track? Why not just leave them as separate tracks? Too much CPU usage maybe?

@chinaboybeatz he prob has a good amount of ram in his computer. you prob dont. you should at least have 4gb of ram for the program to run smooth

great tutorial. mind telling me your compression settings when your going to upload to youtube? i have the same setup (t1i/fcp)

yup go to "export using quicktime conversion" then use h264 codec, video quality best, make sure frame reordering is checked, export in 720p or 1080p, put auto for keyframes / frame rate, leave "fast start" checked, and also audio should be AAC codec 48khz best quality 320 KBPS!!!

@flipsiide10 yes if you have a camera like a canon that saves in .h264 codec you would have to convert it with a program called "MPEG Streamclip" before editing. Look up a tutorial on that to learn how to do it. Also we just using a Regular SDHC memory card
