Clannad made me cry way more, but AnoHana is easily my number two favorite anime (possibly tied with Air). I like how everyone expected nothing of the 2011 spring season, yet we got AnoHana. I just wish I'd noticed it sooner on the list of anime coming out for the season I saw. When it was stuck in with a bunch of crappy titles, I just kinda...missed it. It wasn't until I was seeing Menma fanart everywhere that I had to check it out.
