As for her accent, since she grew up in London from 2-11, she has a natural accent when she is around Brits. It's interesting that when she is on these shows without David she speaks with her full British accent. I'm not British, but it sounds indistinguishable from other Brits, and I've heard them comment on how genuine her accent is. It's weird how she goes in and out of it so easily.

You know what seems strange to me? I know that Gillian has an accent in Britain, and I'm used to hearing her use it...however, I'm not used to hearing her use it with David. It's incredibly strange to hear her speaking in a British accent with David...so weird! I bet David thinks it's sexy...or I hope so, anyway.

She was born in America and moved to England for a while as a child. Then they moved back to America and I believe that to fit in better she gained an American accent, So you'll find that in interviews in the UK she does have an English accent but in America an American one!!!!

Gillian Anderson is almost multi-accental (if thats a word) with alot of her life being in both England and America she seems comfortable in both. However i dont want Americans and the two main stars of the X Files especially thinking that many people in England actually WATCH Richard and Judy, as its the biggest load of trash ive ever seen in my life, and the only reason i clicked this link is because David and Gillian were on it.
